GTA 3, i have played and beatin all of the grand theft auto games, but you cant get any better than this game, the story line in this game is so good, the best imo

Also, Halo 2. While it's a great game that definately deserves recognition for it's abilities and fanbase (100,000+ players a day still, it was released on November 9th 2004.) I don't consider it one of the best, although I love the game and played it on a competitive level for quite some time, and still play it scarcely.

What I consider to be the best would probably be an older game, such as the first games for playstation, before the xbox hit the scene and they pumped games out as fast as they could to compete, catering to their pockets instead of gameplay.

Metroid on regular old Nintendo was awesome, I mostly play sports games now though dont have the time to really get involved in games with big storylines and such, so I like the EA Sports NCAA football titles.

In the modern video game era Halo: Combat Evolved could possibly be the best. It is much better than the sequel Halo 2, I won't go into extensive detail on why the sequel didn't live up to the first but I believe it didn't and will leave it at that.

Red Alert 2 is a pimp game. Before I reformatted my computer, I played it online all the time with a friend in London Ky. He has a job now, and not much time so I haven't bothered to reinstall it.

Generals could have been a nice addition to the C&C line of products, but it just didn't seem to fit right with the new engine running it. 3D graphics is fine but they redid the building and unit structure :(

Try NBA Live 97 with Indiana when they have Reggie Miller and Chris Mullins. That was always my favorite team from a basketball game.
