It seems that this game occurs every year. Usually it comes down to the last few minutes of the 4th quarter. I have seen Perry play and they are good...At Times! Hazard is starting to improve, you can see that from when they beat Buckhorn by 35-40 when pcc only beat them by low single digits, so im going with the hazard bulldogs this year, Good Luck!!!:argue:

IDK who will win but I do know that having to draw to see who plays is ridiculous. Hazard and Perry play eachother in the 1st round of district almost every year. They need to go to seeding, these two teams are usually the top 2 in that district every year and both are usually legit contenders to win the region. How many times in the last 5 years have these two teams been the top favorites to win the region, yet they end up having to play in the 1st round of districts. I will never understand drawing.

The Bulldogs looked very good in beating Buckhorn by 28 as they slowly built a lead at the end of the first half and slowly extended the lead throughout the 2nd half to get it to the final margin of 28. They beat Buckhorn very solidly , but did not beat them as badly as you imply. The Wildcat team that lost to Hazard did not play like the team that should have beaten PCC. I, too, like hazard in this game, however.

I was wondering the same thing myself, a freshman who doesn't play very well at the varsity level under pressure. He is a good freshman player, but he should have never been in the game at that point.

Kay, Larry is right...this is the place to be. If there is any way that you can come to Hazard for this game then do it!! This is THE game of the year. The stakes are high...loser goes home til next year. There is absolutely no feeling in the world like being at a Hazard-pcc District game. The atmosphere is amazing. The crowd is incredible. This is the biggest rivalry in the state of KY. Win, lose or draw I'm always honored and proud to be a part of the greatest basketball tradition in the mountains.
