They got a game with Grundy also, or are they gonna forfiet and back out of the game?just wondring because ive allready heard this but to be honest I didnt belive it..

I see Shelby Valley going 7-3, maybe even 8-2...they will be a good team this year.

8-2 would be a little bit of a stretch. Losses to Grundy(if they play) and Belfry are almost automatic(even though every year SV fans seem to think that this is the year they beat Belfry). They would then have to sweep the rest of their games. I can see them losing at least one more time and maybe twice to either Matewan, SC or P-burg. I see a 6-4 record for the Wildcats this coming year with a possibility of 7-3. Either way I do think they will get the 3 seed in the district this year which is alot better than being the 4 seed and traveling to Breathitt or Middlesboro.

That situation is yet to be resolved...........my advice to the new coach is to play Grundy and honor the contract

Shelby Valley is a good school ..Just wish the administration would honor the deal with Grundy...

Ive said some harsh stuff about the "Powers that be" up there at SV, but even Im suprised by this. If they indeed signed a 2 year home and home deal and its theyre turn to go to grundy and they weasel out of it to play in a bowl game for a bigger payday. I hope Matewan hangs 85 on em. Whats the matter? They afraid theyre players will get car sick on 460 or what?LOL!
