...in a scrimmage.

just because it was a scrimmage doesnt mean anything. We had 4 different pitchers throughout the game and several other switches in positions before we found where everyone needed to be. And that was before he started putting in JV

Should be a very good dbl hdr JV matchup tonday in Paintsville with Belfry coming to play the Tigers!

Belfry was afraid to go scrimage yeah thats a good one. I mean come on its practice lol. Im not for sure but Id say it would probably be due to the fact we had a game Monday and Tuesday and we had alot of guys sick witht he flu and had them getting better. Its been going around horriable at belfry last couple of days.
Im sure we will get to meet up in post season or something though. Belfry isnt world beaters yet but they arent a bad team. They are hitting the ball well and hitting it int he right places instead of going for the homer. We also have some good pitching especialy when Chapman is on the hill.

Belfry held the JV players at home because they had a Varsity game scheduled with Burch and due to WVSSAC most of Burch's starters were ineligible to play Tuesday night, Burch used their JV players. Belfry agreed using the JV team but allowed Chapman to get in a couple innings on the mound, just to get up to speed.

Yeah he pitched 2 innings. Basicaly just worked on his offspeed pitches, which is what he needs. He has an awesome fast balla nd if he gets his curve ball working he would be hard to hit.

Did I say they were scared???
Belfry has a great program, I have always given them praise. But their coach calls after 3 o'clock to cancel and gives the reason that they didn't know they had a game scheduled with Paintsville???? It had been scheduled since Dec. 20th!! Besides, if they didn't know they had a game, then How the **** did they know to call and cancel???

This wasn't a scrimage. This was a scheduled JV Dbl. Hdr!

My bad man I thought you was saying it was a scrimage. We would have had to forfit a varsity loss I believe if we wouldnt have played Burch. Im sure our JV would have gotten more out of playing Paintsville. The game was sad.

I think so as well.... for the last few years, Belfry/Paintsville matchups at every level have been the best!!!

Yeah, but what can you do? I mean you cant forfit a varsity game over it. Doesnt Paintsville varsity play over at Belfry this year?

SC will be fun to watch this year. Only thing that will get in their way is depth at pitching.

I agree, moofer. The way they steal, bunt, and execute plays is really exciting to see. Pitching will be somewhat of a problem, however.

THE EAGLES!!!!!!
What is up with the Eagles? Is it just a tuff schedule or could it have to do with some of the basketball players getting a late start? Im not really sure so I was just checking. Im anxious to see them play at Belfry this year.

To be quite honest I like to watch AC cause I know most of the players. But i love to watch any team that actually tries. I don't care to watch any team as long as it a good game and it isn't a mercy. When it gets to a mercy i just leave.
