Going into the All-Star Break. The Bulls are 26-23 and looking at a seven seed in the East. With none of the starters being past their third year, do you think this team will eventually win a championship?
I believe in a couple of years they will be the team to beat.

These Bulls will be dangerous once they're all developed, remember most of them would just be in their senior season in college right now.

theese bulls hav talent in ben gordon and heinrich my favorite player ... i am rooting for the bulls this year even tho my team is the pistons
VonWafer_FSU

i wouldnt really say they have talent, they have some nice young solid players, but theyll still be behind the magic, heat, pacers, pistons, 76ers, bucks, wizards...so there a nice story but they dont have talent yet...

Are you kidding me? They have talent. Yound inexperienced talent, but talent nonetheless. Give these kids a few more years to develop and they could be dominating the east. They arent behind the Bucks, Bucks arent even in the playoff hunt. They are the number 6 seed in the East as of today, but are statistically the 5th best team in the East. The Celtics are the 3 seed only because they are in the extremely weak atlantic. By the way, they are also ahead of the Magic who are the 7 seed and the Sixers arent even in the playoffs. Bulls at this rate will draw the weak Cetlics and could even win the first round.

I remember when the bulls is all i used to watch back in mid 90's. When michael jordan left them, i lost interest in ever watching NBA. I hope that one day they can be as good as the bulls were.
hawkamania
03-02-2005, 01:02 AM
true supermario, after jordan left, the NBA just started to suck. I really dont even like the games today. there's no defense. I think in a few years these bulls will be pretty good, but I dont think theyll ever compare to the dynasty in the 90's.

03-02-2005, 11:29 AM

by far the most fun team to watch play
jordan and pippen and rodman along with luc longley steve kerr... shew that team was just something to watch!

They have four of the top ten rookies in the league, by stats. Deng, Gordon, Nocioni, and Duhon. You add that along to Chandler, Curry, and Hinrich, you have a solid team. And if they can keep this same unit together, then they will be a very good team.

03-07-2005, 10:37 PM
They are going to make the playoffs. They are in the East for one. They are a talented team and are looking at a 6 seed which would play the winner of the Atlantic Division, very weak only get one playoff team in becuz the leader from each division automatically makes it. It looks like that will be the Celtics. If the Bulls play the Celtics in the first round they will beat them. They can and will prove you wrong.
dirty30
03-07-2005, 11:04 PM
I agree with you on that one...Bulls will prove a lot of wrong this season

theres no way the bulls will beat the celtics in the postseason, celtics have to much fire power with pierce and davis, and walker is actually proving me wrong with his play

You say they wont but you never back up your statements with much valid information. Davis is overrated. Stats dont lie, the Bulls are the better of the two teams. The Bulls are about 10 deep, they would wear out the Celtics.
VonWafer_FSU
03-09-2005, 07:10 PM

They arent 10 deep are they? They have ten players that average over 10 minutes a game. 8 of those 10 average over 20 minutes a game. They have depth, they have talent. The Bulls are in good shape for now and the future.
VonWafer_FSU
03-12-2005, 01:52 PM

See look at you at try to change things, you said there was no way there were ten deep and I prove it, how bout you just admit I was right about that. The Bulls dont have enough talent to win the NBA Finals but they have enough to win in the 1st round.
VonWafer_FSU

wow man there awesome players....lol...not!
youknowwhoibe
03-12-2005, 09:33 PM
They may have no great players. But they have a bunch of solid players that work well together. No one player wins a game for them, its always a team effort. If they get to play the Celtics, Wizards, or Cavs, they have a chance of winning in the first round?
FSU do you not think the Bulls will make the playoffs?
VonWafer_FSU
03-12-2005, 10:37 PM
they might make it, just cuz the east is so bad.....but i def. dont see them winning a round in the playoffs if they make it

If they make it? They are definetly going to make it unless they completely colapse. The East is soft and I dont see anyone coming overtop of them.
Right now they are tied for the 5th seed in the East 32-27.

The Bulls of the 90's could beat any team espcecially the 96 Bulls. 72-10 no one will ever touch that record.
Actually, I think the Lakers only have 14. 11 in LA and three from Minneapolis.
The Celtics have 14 or 15 too.
The Bulls franchise isnt as old as the others either though.

Ben Gordon 22 points in the 4th quarter, had 36 for the game in the comeback against the Bobcats...haha....But still Gordon looks good and I think he is possibly the top candidate for Rookie of the Year. He averages 15 a game which leads all rookies.
dirty30
04-01-2005, 12:28 PM
Ben Gordon has really stepped up and surprised me this year and he is a legit candidate for the rookie of the year, but there are a lot of other rookkies in the league that may be a little ahead of him for the award so i think he is going to have to start playing even better if he wants to win this award
also this season there have been a lot of young players to step up for the bulls and allow them to have a season that they are having
youknowwhoibe
04-02-2005, 12:28 AM
Bulls are 5th in the East and won the other night against Lebron without Curry. The Bulls have players who have stepped up and played well while others were injured.
Just to let you know, Ben Gordon has the highest pts average in the 4th quarter in the entire NBA. Can you say clutch?
dirty30
04-02-2005, 01:35 PM
Yea that is clutch but i mean Dwight Howard of the Magic has relaly stepped up and played well this season as a rookie staright out of high school...I mean in 72 games this season he is averaging 32.3 minutes per game, 10.10 rebounds per game, 1.64 blocks per game, and 11.4 ppg. That is very impressive coming from him and he has helped lead a Magic team to 34 wins this season and a possible playoff birth off of a 19 win season last year...THe kid is averaging a double double, so i think he is a legit candidate for the ROTY (Rookie of the Year) but we will just have to wait and see

Reasons Why Gordon is Rookie of the Year:
1. His team is winning. They are the 5 seed in the East 40-31 with no real stars on that team. Okafor and Bobcats 15-56. I know their an expansion team but heck the Bulls only won 21 games last year. Dwight Howard and the Magic 34-38 on a team that has Doug Christie, Steve Franchise Francis, and Grant Hill. He has all the talent surrounding him and they still cant win.
2. He is the leading scorer of this bunch. Ben Gordon 15.3 ppg, Dwight Howard 11.4 ppg, and Omeka Okafor 15.1 ppg.
3. He averages less minutes than the other two but still puts up big numbers and was a big reason they are winning.
But none of this really matters except one thing....winning and thats what Gordon is doing and the other two arent.

little man...?? haha i could kick ur a$$.....and the baby bulls wont get past the 1st round
youknowwhoibe
04-15-2005, 11:10 AM
No Von I know you both and Von you couldnt beat up anybody but thats ok haha
But the point he was making you said the Bulls wouldnt make the playoffs and you were wrong and he is saying you could be wrong again. If Bulls can hold on to the 4 seed they will win the first round because they are good at home. They would have more trouble being the 5.
youknowwhoibe
04-16-2005, 12:02 AM
Bulls won by 40 tonight against the Magic without Curry who is out the rest of the season. And eventhough it was the ailing Magic, it proves how deep this team is to play without their best big man and win by 40. Wizards are one game back of the Bulls for 4 spot in the East. Pacers are 6 right now.

Check your pm's I know who you are and Im not afraid to say who I am. I never said I was so I dont why that came up. Talking trash to someone bigger than you isnt always the smartest thing to do but its ok.
Bulls are going to win first round by beating the Wizards.

04-17-2005, 02:34 PM
lol d30 if ur who i think u are, than yeh i think i can...not very intimidating, but ne ways baby bulls have lost curry and deng for the playoffs so no chance
youknowwhoibe
04-17-2005, 09:00 PM
Deng has easy to replace with Nocioni. Theyve been able to win plenty without him but without Curry they could have some trouble. But if they play the Wizards first round they could be ok because the Wizards do not have a dominating big man. Chandler and Davis will be able to pick up the slack on the inside.
VonWafer_FSU
04-17-2005, 09:28 PM
are u crazy...jamison, and haywood are good interior players...plus curry was the only low post threat from the bulls, now there just perimeter shooters, and ill take hughes and arenas over ne one the bulls has
dirty30
04-17-2005, 10:35 PM
well since Curry is out with irregular heartbeats then i think that really hurts the bulls chances of making it pass the first round of the playoffs...what are they now a 4 seed?
im not too sure on who they will play but if its the sixers, im thinking that the sixers will take that series in 4 or 5 games...

actually the 5th seed will either be the wizards or the pacers...sixers are not even in this conversation

04-18-2005, 10:44 PM
Haywood? Your joking right? He isnt good at all. Jamison is a good inside out player but I think the Bulls have enough to contain him.
Bulls in 6.

Does anyone think that the Bulls will make it past the first round???
and who does it look like they will be playing???

The Bulls have been doing fine without either player playing against some fairlly good oponents. If they can win this game against the Pacers, they will be riding a five game win streak into the playoffs. They are looking good and I think their defense will be the reason they will be able to win in the first round.
VonWafer_FSU
04-20-2005, 09:34 PM
they might be able too...but okafor is still rookie of the year
youknowwhoibe
04-20-2005, 10:25 PM
Well, they arent looking great against the Pacers right now but its ok we have 4 locked up. All the ESPN analyst seem to agree with me that Gordon with be Rookie of the Year. And who knows maybe even 6th Man of the Year.

04-21-2005, 10:07 PM
i wish the bulls would start gordon over duhon..i mean gordon is so much better than both of the bulls starting guards
youknowwhoibe
04-21-2005, 10:29 PM
Yeah your right. Ive always wondered why he hasnt started. Just put Hinrich at point and Gordon at shooting guard. Duhon doesnt need to start. Gordon still averages more minutes than Duhon he just doesnt start. The Bull are...well were a very deep team. They still are fairly deep and I think will wear out the Wizards.

well like i said earlier...on espn the Bulls are looking as if they will do ok against the Wizards in teh first round and i honestly think they will take the series in 5 games, but thats just IMO
VonWafer_FSU
04-22-2005, 06:43 PM
lol..i think they have a chance but they wont win it in 5 games..this looks like a long series
youknowwhoibe
04-22-2005, 10:11 PM
Ill agree this series will be long one 6 or 7. But I have faith Bulls will be able to win this series then get dominated by the Heat haha
VonWafer_FSU

i hope whoever wins the series can beat the heat...but only if the heat can get past the nets

Bulls win Game 1!!! 103-94. Chandler really stepped it up on the inside and the rookies for the Bulls were huge. Nocioni had 25 points and 15 rebounds. Gordon had 30 points.
Arenas 3-19 for 9 points. The Bulls completely shut him down. Im pretty sure I would rather have Gordon on the perimeter than him.
VonWafer_FSU
04-24-2005, 10:19 PM
o calm down...the bulls are at home in game one they were favored so they should have won the game...arenas played terrible for the wizards and they still had a chance to win at the end...its only one game and ur takin gordon over arenas?? someone needs to watch a different sport.lol
youknowwhoibe
04-24-2005, 10:56 PM
I was just trying to get you mad. I know Arenas is better. I just love remembering how you said Bulls wouldnt make the playoffs and did. But Von are they still terrible? haha
Chandler played well against the big men of the Wizards.
Man I can get excited. We havent won a playoff game since 1998. Jordans last season.
VonWafer_FSU
04-26-2005, 06:30 PM
alright alright..i was completely wrong about them not making the playoffs...but they won a close game one against the wizards...arenas prolly had the worst game of his life and they still almost won..so we'll see in game 2

04-29-2005, 11:40 PM
the Bulls seem to be heading in the right direction...they just need to contain areneas and about two others and they should be ok

Ben Gordon...6th Man of the Year. He appeared in all 82 games (three starts) and averaged 15.1 ppg, 2.6 rpg and 2.0 apg in 24.4 mpg. He shot .411 from the field, a Bulls’ rookie record .405 from behind the arc (18th in the NBA) and .863 from the free throw line (16th). Gordon also finished with 3.21 3FG per 48 minutes (8th), 29.6 points per 48 minutes (11th) and 10.41 FG per 48 minutes (15th).
