I say, if your organs will benefit someone else, and whether your family agrees or disagrees, your organs will be taken and will be used to save someone else. Debating whether something is moral or ethical is time wasteful and inefficient. People need to solve problems the fast way, not the slow way.

I think they should be taken out and given to someone who needs them.

Yes you should have a choice, but why would anyone not want to donate them when they don't need them anymore? My husband donated a kidney to his brother about 6 years ago. His brother had 3 great years after that but passed away in 2001.
