Oh, and South Floyd will suprise some people this year.....I think Ac has the best overall team, talent, and coach....but IMO SF, P-Burg, and BL is pretty even this year.

Would have to have agreed with the choice of Allen Central if the had made a coaching change.. The coach there now can't get water out of the ocean IMO. Would have been the best move every if they had of gotten rid of him, Allen Central has some real good talent returning next yr and with the new kids coming up would have been tough to handle. I do wish Allen Central all the luck in the world and if they do go anywhere they will acheive it on there own.

1)Prestonsburg- Most talent in 58th
2)Allen Central- Most experince in 58th
3)South Floyd- Good 3 point shooting team as always !
4)Betsy Layne- Trai Whitt we be the leader for this team but they have a .500 year !

You cannot really rank these teams cause there so equal !

Okay how many JV games has Prestonsburg lost in the past two years to 58th district teams ? None that I can remember and the same players are still playing for each team ! Prestonsburg will not lose many games to 58 district teams ! AC is really the only team that can play with this team ! SF is gonna have alot of trouble but you never know about the 58th !

Yeah, the past two years p-burg has had a senior dominated varsity team which means that if your not a senior you were probably on the jv team...but the young talented sophomores and juniors at Ac has had to suit up and play varsity which they have seen no jv time. So you cant make observations that since the jv team does well meaning there going to be good team on the varsity level.

I think that you'll see a Trevor Patton your not expecting this year. He's working in camps this summer out of state and will bring alot more to the table than people think. And don't start with that "weak" talk and get that started. All I'm saying is alot of people are going to see a different player on the court.
And he just may be the one to match up to Whitt and Martin.

I heard that Collins boy from Betsy Layne had a pretty good game against South Floyd. Anyone have any stats?

I don't believe anyone keeps any stats for summer ball.

Thunderchild, I think you might be right on here. Trevor told his dad that he has learned more in a week than he had learned in his whole life about basketball. He is facing a 6'10 post kid out of Chicago every day, very physical and talented, I will try to find out his name. He is D1 for sure, he told Trevor that he wanted to atten Mich. State. He has really taken an interest in helping Trevor. I think this might really show about January. Trevor has really sacrificed his summer to "get out of his comfort zone" to work against bigger and better players from around the country. Next week camp at University of KY for Trevor. Will report more when I know more.

Betsy Layne will be runner-up again this year in my opinion.. but thats a long ways away... Allen Central needs to step up quick, they've had losing seasons for the past 3 years.

i think its to close to call right now....when season starts the teams will start seperating themelves so we can see who can play and who can't but for the preseason rankings
1.AC...most experienced team with good presence in middle in Josh Martin
2.BL...returning seniors Trai Witt and Brennan Case..good defensive team who needs to find ways to score
3.P-Burg...returns sharpshooters Bobby Hughes and Jordan Hall and has great fans to make home games intemmidating for others teams..
4.SF...the youngest team in the district with only Ethan Johnson returning with a lot of experience.

SF's seniors don't seem to play team ball...If they can get it together and play with the rest of the team then maybe they will suprise people....
