I'd say so, I haven't seen their schedule but they may pick up a win over Piarist, or Riverside. The Stumbo kid can play a little but the rest of them need to work hard on their games over the summer go to some camps and get some confidence to think they can win and they may suprise some people including me.....But anyway good luck too David next year and play hard the whole game every game and everything will be alright when the season end.:thumpsup:

thats the truth they didn't have n go to players .....but the stumbo and tiller kid were the best players i watched them some......stumbo could shoot lights out and the tiller kid could penetrate to the goal ne time he wanted

Another one of there players maybe coming back to Prestonburg High. Steffon Wright ! They may not have enough players to have a team this upcoming season ! I think 1 or 2 Graduated last season !

yea steffon told me after ball season that he may be goin back to p-burg but i don't think he would be able to play ball for them unless he went to a camp this yr that would be the only way i see him playing for the blackcats....stumbo i heard he may be goin to south floyd idk if thats a rumor or not

I dont think none of those players will be able to play (if they tranfer) due to the KHSAA rule that they'll have to set out a year b/c they played a high school sport at another school

It's going to be very difficult for The David School to have a basketball team in most years. They just don't have enough students. These small schools will always have this problem. Riverside Christian couldn't even come up with a baseball team this past season. David could possibly have the same problem this year with basketball. The district they're in is basicly a 3 team district, just like the one Riverside is in.

He was there best player but every time he came down the floor he shot the ball or tried to drive the lane and get fouled ! He didnt make alot of his free throws and didnt score a whole lot of points that game cause I only think there was a like 60 combined points in that whole entire game against the pburg jv !

Hey if they're looking for a coach then I'd be interested. The David School has so much potential as far as recruiting goes. I know a couple of people that go there and some of them can ball, but won't play. Pillersdorf has no idea what he is doing. If they let Joey Conn coach then I think things would turn around a bit. The main thing is being able to recruit. With them being a privately owned school, they have the right to recruit players but choose not to. But yeah, if the coaching job becomes available then let me know.

This was a few years back. Seems like I remember Josh McCarty going to David School and he was a great player. And even the past couple of years at David they had some good players that with the right staff could have been turned into very nice looking players. I don't think they had a 15th region poy, but definitely some players that were better than the 0-100 record they posted last year.

Personally the Stumbo kid is the only player who stood out to me, they had a big kid that rebounded the ball pretty well, but really the only player I saw that had the Potential to be a good player was Stumbo...I didn't see alot of games but watched the games they had televised. He need to work hard on his game however there is alot of room for improvement...JMO

last year stumbo and tiller strung together a couple of good games and stumbo had two great games he had 32 against riverside christian, and 36 against onieda baptist.
and u say that you never hear about these kids blake stumbo made the three rivers conference all tournament team and the three rivers conference all conference team, and he made the all a tournament team, and districts all tournameent team,and tiller made the three rivers conference all tournament team, and all conference team
