IMO I think the outcome of this game will have alot to do with the ref's and the fact that BL has the home court advantage. Either team have a good chance of winning because BL has showed up to play here alot lately and gave good teams some tough games. But SF gets done what needs to get done when they need it the most. So whoever shows up to play will take this win, unless there's other factors, that both teams can't control, determine it. If SF comes out on top I think it will be by alot, but if BL takes it, it'll be a close one. But either way, good Luck to both teams and be ready to play for the Championship!!

Both teams are very physical. I think SF has a better inside game and maybe even better at every position but I think BL is more physical and are in more control of themselves in a physical battle than SF. I also think the refs will play a big part in this game. If so BL by 2. Good luck to both teams, I would like to see a good 58th tourney.

I don't think that the refs will have to. I'm gonna go with BL on this one. It really doesn't matter where they would play, I would still go with BL.
Because---------BL beat SF at P-burg.
BL beat SF at BL.
BL would have probably won the game at SF if a foul
hadn't been called with 2-3 seconds to go. They only
lost by 2 free throws.

lets face it, yes this game is goin to be called awful. BL on their home floor and they will get the calls. SF should know this before the games starts and they must overcome that. personally i think SF will win this one. i dont think Rose can get it done when it counts. nuttin against him cause if they do beat SF i am pulling for BL in the region.

SF has no answer for Simon and he dropped 46 on them at the dome once this season not saying that he will do that again but i see him coming up big its his senior year and he wants to go out on top.

I think that SF and BL will put on a good game next Wednesday. It will be a barn burner in my opinion and everyone will be on the edge of their seats!

I would love to see SF win this one, but as many have said in the other posts, it is at Betsy Layne and Brent Rose will do absolutley anything to win. Ryan can keep his cool and he more than likley will in this game b/c he knows the importance of it. The refs do pick on him as well as some other players from the SF team. I'm hoping that Simon won't hit anything on Wednesday and hopefully Brent Rose won't keep his cool. B/c everyone knows that he has a temper on him that gets set off very EASILY, and some people are talking about Ryan's temper. :roll:

Ryan doesn't have a temper he just sometimes forgets who controls the game. It's like living in a small community and say that someone speeds up and down the highway and the State Police have caught this person speeding a couple of times. They are definitely going to be looking for that certain car automatically. Ryan hs made great strides in his reaction on the court and He knows how bad this group of Sr's want to get to the Regional Tournament. The technical by the female ref the other night was a joke and I would bet the farm She will never call another against him. Betsy Layne has beat South Floyd twice this year and SF got them once. South Floyd is the higher seed and will have as many if not more fans than Betsy Layne will. I personally believe South Floyd will win and advance to the finals. District tournament has always been a great time of year and Betsy Layne does a great job of hosting it. I look for South Floyd to play with more emotion and heart than they have all year. Hopefully Betsy Layne will do likewise. Let both bring the A game and see who comes out on top.

Personally I'd rather see Betsy Layne with this one only because I think they will beat Betsy Layne a whole lot easier than they would South Floyd. South Floyd is the only team in the district to beat Prestonsburg and even come within 20 points of them. Can't say that for Betsy Layne.

It would only be different if it were played at SF... but as we all know home court has a lot to do with the way a team plays, Betsy Layne should win this one... as for Ryan Johnson getting picked on?
