Well this one is the last scrimmage of the preseason until the season kicks off. Ironton plays ashalnd no more due to schedule conflict for the regular season. So these two bitter rivals will play in their last scrimmage before season kicks off. :argue:

I say ashland has the upper hand in a scrimmage like this due to a whole different coach change from last year. This will tell us how ashland will favore comming season.

Wow, I'd drive the couple hours from Belfry to see those 2 teams! I bet it will be better than the Super Blow, er, Bowl, was this year.

the tomcats will be missing Michael Walters(back), Brian Salyers(knee), lacey Snodgrass(hamstring), and possibly Fields Davis(ear infection)

Fields Davis did play tonight. It seemed to me to be a little limited though. I thought the Tomcats looked better. Still couldnt run the ball, but when you have both of your returning starters out hurt that cant help matters. Mahan looked good running and throwing I thought, with some more game experience I think he will work his way into the mix of things. Coach Hart wont let mistakes keep happening and the big boys will get better in time. Raceland will be a good test, good luck to both teams next Friday.

I say raceland will be a good test for these boys for they were not last yr for the hit squad of 06. But hey just a scrimmage the real stuff starts soon.
