DEVILOLOGIST

Broke the school record with 44 last year and 264 points which was 10th overall in the state records as a junior. He surpassed Josh Gross last year by one TD. This was a hard feat to believe after watching Josh run.... Great Job Kasey and keep up the good work:devilflam

How many did Kasey have against BC last week?

Through the first 2 games it has him listed with 4 TDs (3 rush, 1 rec). It doesn't have the BC stats updated yet.

In any case, I think Kasey will fall short of his high mark he set last season, but still have a great year. I'm predicting 30 TDs for Kasey.

Yeah I saw that one in the newspaper. Pretty amazing run. Should have been buckled up tighter though!

Alot will depend on how far we go into the playoffs as well. We had 15 games for him to get 44 last year. He was averaging 2.93 TD's per game. If we only go 11 games he would have to average 4 TD's per game. Man that will be tough.

It depends on how well his blocking is.

I to think he will fall short, but I think as long as we win, Kasey could care less about braking a record he already has. JMO:Thumbs:

40 will be tough to get even if the devils go far (if not all the way) into the playoffs, but I see possibly around 30 to 35 for him this year.

What's that yellow hanky in the background for?

It was for the two hands that were wrapped around the facemask before the helmet ended up on the ground. It was the worst facemask infraction that I can remember seeing and IMO should have resulted in an ejection.

FBALL
09-12-2006, 11:53 PM
35 - 40. Even if it is in 15 games. He won't play more than a half in most of the remaining regular season games

DEVILOLOGIST
09-13-2006, 09:05 AM
Yea the hanky was for a double facemask call, 2 hands on facemask, with continued pulling results in helmet on ground..... I am glad it wasnt on there tighter or Kaseys head and neck would have been in the helmet on the ground. The player who grabbed it would not let go and Kasey was bent all the way to the ground side ways and still running dragging the player with him until it came off. I would have loved to see him break the run for a TD and see him without a helmet. Has this ever happened in HS football????

LOL:thatsfunn ...... Leave it up to you big "D" to think of something like that. That was a first for me to see an opponent in the background trying to help out the referees by grabbing his facemask. It also looked like the flag that was thrown had some "zip" behind it.

Hey "D", check out the picture of the home crowd on the RHS Football web site. It's almost as big as it was back in the day, except that was usually the size of the crowd on the visitors side with both end zones packed when we played Ironton, Ashland or Boyd.

I have not even predicted yet, so here I go. IF---- Russell goes deep in the playoffs and goes to state Kasey will break the record of 44. IF we dont go I say he falls short at 38.

According to the paper this morning Kasey has 299 yards on 55 carries and 6 TD's. If that be the case he needs to step it up from his current average of 2 per game. Which I think will happen with district play coming up.

DEVIL89
09-19-2006, 03:51 AM
I Believe That As Of Right Now He Is Ahead Of His Pace Of Last Year, If That Is The Case Then Watch Out He May Even Come Close To Josh's All-time Record.

DEVILOLOGIST
09-20-2006, 12:51 AM
He will have to hit 50 this year to break Josh's record unless Kasey scored as a freshman in a Varsity game. This is on track becasue he has 11 in 3 games, almost 4 a game. Going into the district he will have to get 4 a game to make it 40 in regular season. 4 in the first playoff game. Then 4 inthe second playoff game = 48 in the district play. If he scores 2 in the regional game he should break the all time scoring record of Josh........

I hope kasey does a little better than josh in college. josh is a redshirt freshman and doesn't play much.
Josh had a severe hamstring injury last year and every player in that very good freshman class was redshirted.
He has a pulled hamstring right now but is expecting to see playing time when he is healthy. Not nearly as bad as last years injury. When he is healthy I think you will be hearing about him quite a bit.

DEVILOLOGIST
09-24-2006, 10:00 PM
Josh did not want to redshirt because he plans on graduating on time. He did not want to go to a larger school because he would HAVE to. Now due to his injury ,,, he had to. Josh says he is going to graduate after his 4 years, thats why he is getting an education..... A year to heal is a good thing,,, ask Arlis at Greenbay, he would tell you the same.................

DEVILOLOGIST
09-24-2006, 10:02 PM
I think Kasey has bigger schools looking at him because he is physically bigger that Josh. If Josh was 3-4 inches taller he would had some better looks...... Thats the way it is....

Midee1
09-24-2006, 10:09 PM
No need to worry about Josh. He'll be fine. He really could care less whether he plays or not. He is more concerned about an education. He told me that he had a 3.8 and a 3.9 GPA in his first two semesters. As for graduating in four years. I don't think that will happen. Michael is in college and he said that it will take almost 5 years to get his degree. The last time I talked to Josh's dad he mentioned pre-med so four years is out of the question. To elaborate on FBALL's comments. Josh is #3 on the depth charts at Georgetown. Not to shabby for someone that is injured.

He'll be fine. He has his own agenda and will carry it out.

Kasey is on track to break the record if he can get 4 a game now.......Winning ditrict will give him 48 in the season, if he gets 4 a game now on.... He will only have to score 2 times to break Josh's record for TD in a career. Josh scored as a freshman which is why Kasey needs to get 4 a game........
