I hope to make it back into the mountains to see some games soon, but hopefully a mountain team makes it back to Louisville and I can see them there, it is just 90 minutes from here.

I hope Prestonsburg is a good game..but I don't see it happening. Most of the people that actually got to play when Belfry and Prestonsburg were both good are gone. It's just not what it was 2 or 3 years ago. Everybody said last year how Prestonsburg would be tough because it was them. And look what happened. Don't get me wrong. I have respect for every player on every team around here. But with the acception of Belfry, Sheldon Clark, and Pikeville..there's nobody in this area thats any good. Belfry, Sheldon Clark, and Pikeville, especially Belfry and SC are many steps above all the area teams here..I would love to see good battles each and every week. But it isn't gonna happen.

Coach I think Johnson Central may have a little something to say about not being anygood. Congrats Belfry I always root for ya, except one game a year. Magoffin DO NOT get down, you have to come back out Monday and practice even harder.

I am extremely proud of the young Hornets tonight!!! Though no one is pleased with the result in Magoffin County, they are improving every game and played hard and at times very well against a potential state champion. Hornets, continue to improve every practice and every game.. If you do this you will have opportunities to beat some other teams in your district. Great job Coach McCoy getting improvement and getting a program going in the right direction. Some people may think I am silly for seeing a 0-48 loss as a positive note, but please understand that Coach McCoy with help from the new administration has taken a bunch of inexperienced, young, and undermatched kids and are a few things away from being competitive......Great Job!!!!

Belfry.......Great job and great football team..You are extremely well coached and your fans are as classy as your head coach....Best of luck for the rest of the year.....

I think the Prestonsburg game will be better than everyone thinks. Belfry will still win, but they DEFINATELY should not over look them.
