i would say your right on this one...Valley will be more than ready to show everyone that they can play against great teams such as Sheldon Clark but i think that with Mullings in as the new QB it will take a little while to get adjusted to SC Defense

Just a bit of information you may like to know....Big John Johnson #55 is being looked at by UK and several other D1 schools. He has gotten numerous amounts of letters from UK and other schools. His recruiter was at the Midland Trail game and seemed very impressed with his performance. I can assure you if I was a recruiter I wouldn't be driving 3 hours to watch a player I was going to cut after the first practice....

But anyways Im going to go with Valley in this game...

Hey pillsbury, John IS valley's best o-lineman, that is what he is being recruited for...Cable is leading the team in tackles and i'd say with these 2 powerhouses with the addition of Gillespie up front it is going to be one tough game for the cards..Mullins will more than likely be at QB this week...He was impressive last week running in 2 td's and completed a pass for another td..Lucas is due a big game....So like I said I think Wildcats will come out on top this week.....

Whats the kids Stats. His hieght and weight. I wouldn't put too much on them drive 3 hrs. They recruited Joey Stepp from SC a few years back but in the end told him he was two small at 6'3" 315lbs. He ended up getting a full ride to Marshall and being a two year starter. Good thing he was too small.

Valley is playing their tough part of the schedule now. 3 out of their next 4 games are going to be hard fought battles. Maybe they should have scheduled some of them earlier in the season to try to sneak in a win while they had everyone healthy. I was just thinking that if someone wants to tell someone else to go back to school over what could have very easily been a typo, they should make sure their grammer and punctuation are correct. If not, isn't it like the pot calling the kettle black?

I believe this is the "game" where Valley either makes a statment and proves that they are in the process of becoming a good program or they follow past occurences and fall on their face in games that they believed they could win. If SV can hang in there and come away with an upset or even just stay close and have a chance at the end then I myself, along with a lot of other "non-believers", will begin to give credit where credit is due. But if this game turns out like most of the past "big" games have then I would hope that the SV faithful would admit that the program isnt where they think it is and accept the fact that they are still a step behind the big guns in the district. IMO there is nothing wrong with accepting this but believing youre on the right track. I feel that SV is on the way to achieving the respect they deserve and want but I dont see it happening just yet. I would want nothing less than for there to be mutliple teams from this area that are capable to make a long run deep into the playoffs. SV will be there one day. I honestly believe that but just not now. I see a close game for about a quarter and a half then SC will pull away and win by 21. Good luck to both teams.

I belive that Valley has one more win in them. This isnt going to be the night for it. Valley will play them closer than some of the scores I have seen on here, but they will end up falling by at least two touchdowns. I belive if they would have played a harder schedule at the start of the year they could have seen what their weaknesses are and could have worked on them in practice and a few games. If Valley can keep their composure when they are behind in the 4th, it will be a close one. If they cant keep it, it may turn out to be a blowout.

Good Post! I am a big VALLEY fan but I have to agree with the above. Valley is working hard to build a program, but the thing is they are building, they are nowhere close to what Belfry has achieve over the years. I wish Valley luck tonight and I hope they can go to S.C. and make some noise. Keep your had up and play hard boys.
