Foster averaged over 4 yard a carry, to Johnsons under 4 yards per carry. It's not that they shut him down, he just didn't carry it that much. Only 14 times.

Beating an ok cheifs team, a god aweful browns team, and a beat up steelers team. Losing to Tampa and a somewhat struggling patriots team. If they can beat the Colts and the Chargers then you can talk. But saying they are good when they beat garbage teams and lose to the freaking bucs which is prolly the 2nd worst team in the nfl thats not saying much.

I was worried in the first half, but the second half it was all Cincy. It was like two teams took the field during this one....now if the second half team can play the rest of the season for 4 quaters a game then they will be TOUGH down the stretch. Congrats Cincy and Lewis for turning the franchise around.

but anyway, carolina gave this game away. The panthers had all the momentum in the first half and even gave the bengals their first score by committing 3 costly 3rd down penalties resulting in huge bengal first downs. despite the penalties, carolina still had a chance to win and at least tie the game at the end but jake delhomme could have made maybe the worst throw all year resulting in the interception that pretty much ended the game.

But it's fair to say that Chad Johnson's 4th and 1 catch, taking in consideration what the Bengals needed and that pt in the game, was maybe the greatest catch in the NFL this season.

Great game by both teams but i would def. take carolina if the two ever met again the rest of this season.

and another thing, Deshaun Foster is a solid running back but he isnt exactly a workload back. That's why carolina took deangelo williams with the 27th overall pick in this years draft, deangelo was hurt and deshaun was forced to take the load...but i wouldnt venture to say the bengals shut down the running game bc carolina really didnt use it
