After a year on the disabled list I have returned to my greatest triumphs in pickleball. Long gone are the days of competition in baseball and basketball as I have entered into the Autumn of my life with two consecutive wins over the likes of Curley Bill and Palladin. Judge Roy Bean having to deal with pneumonia like symptoms was on fire. Any newcomers are welcome to play as long as they go by our rules.

Shew, you all playing this again? lol Man one day I'll make it in one of these games.

You are definitely invited. We just finished off Curley Bill and the travelin Palladin again.

I'd say Curley Bill needs a new partner.

Why Johnny Ringo, You look as if you want to get back into the games. Hop a Long Cassidy is trying to find a partner and hasn't much luck. He will not even come off the walking track for fear of disaster. Doc is in the sanitarium and therefore under the weather so to speak.

I'd like to get back into the games sometime, if there just happens to be a game going on when I'm passing through. Just wait until I get the billiard room up and running.

It's on again with the same results. I seem to be a half step slower this year which makes me still a half step faster than Hop a Long, however The Judge has picked up the slack. Curley Bill and Shadey Raidey still can't get past their glory days in the pee wee leagues to offer competitive balance in our games. One cannot enter into the calmness of true competition by constantly crying over the simplicity of dimensions on a pickleball court thus Curley and Shadey will continue with the sleepless nights trying to come up with their dastardly deeds of changing the lines on the court or trying to suddenly change their playing area. Did Matt ever switch sides when he shoots that bad guy every single Gunsmoke episode? I don't think so. I will give them credit where it is due by saying if anyone needs a fireplace built within the next several years ( starting on it this week ) or trying to catch a Raccoon at 3 am then they would be the ones to contact. It's on.

Sounds like things are getting a little heated on the hill. I'm not sure there's enough firepower to go around for Wyatt and the Judge at the same time. I may have to spectate soon. Keep us updated Wyatt.....

I know that we have gone though this before, but can someone explain the rules to me please.

It's like tennis and can be played in the gym or on blacktop. The court is about 40 ft long and 29 wide with the 36 inch high net. There is an area marked that you can't venture into close to the net unless the ball bounces first in there ( 7ft ). The ball is a hard plastic with holes in it and wooden paddles are used that are twice the size of table tennis paddles. You go to 11 unless you are playing Curly Bill or Shadey Radey then you have to go to 15.

I love pickle ball! BGR needs to host a pickleball tourny.

The game is back in action on the hill. The new season starts out with a perfect 7-0 with the pre-season festivities over last week in which none of the practice games counted. The Hanging Judge Roy Bean and myself are in first place with Curley Bill and Sniper currently in fourth.

When healthy, will Doc return to the pickelball court?

Doc is in the twilight. He seems rather occupied to continue visiting Moseby's Raiders headquarters for the fine dine than join in the battles that await in the arena.

Wyatt, we may be buddies in them there hills during paintball season, but we are sworn enemies between the lines of the infamous pickleball court. As I recall the last time we played one-on-one you tapped out sorta speak! Plus, I have all the faith in the world the sniper & company will be back on top of the pickleball world very soon!

Dream on Sniper. Curley Bill is more concerned with HP than focusing on the pickleball wars. I look for the same outcome as last week when you guys lost three in a row from wowo.

This game was made famous in the Devil's Den @ McDowell. Long live the champions of the blue and gold!

Oh yes, yes it was! I like it even better today! Not much competition today though, with the likes of Wyatt & Johnny Ringo around. Curley Bill has informed me it's "Game on" from this point.

Easy there Sniper my friend. Being 7-0 last week brings about no needed talk from me and the Judge. Curley bill teaming with you and Ringo and SPONGEBOBSQUAREPANTS pose no threat at all either although I believe he did take a replica pickleball from the box.

SPONGEBOB denies any wrong doing over the replica pickleballs. He now states that someone left one in his tray on his door :)

If you want to talk records there Wyatt I have to bring up the fact that Curley Bill and I are the defending champs from last season. Oh yes, yes we are.

So you guys admit to trying to set up an honorable man and tarnish his impeccable image with slander.......you will long for the days when he played nice and begins to rule pickleball.....replica or not

The Sniper

I deny any wrong-doing what so ever. I only had knowledge of the replica incident after the fact.

Well, Wyatt guess I'm going to have to call you out! You'll never play again otherwise. Your hiding like a little school girl refusing to play! That's right I said "A little school girl". You & the judge are making every excuse in the world to keep from facing us on the court. Time to put up or shut up!

 Unfortunately Sniper I must confess to having tunnel vision. It has been a shortcoming of mine to only focus and be good at one thing at a time and after wearing you, Curley Bill, Dastardly Johnny Ringo and the ever so colorful SpongeBob Squarepaints out, it is on to paintball. Thanks for the lack of competition from you guys as me and The Judge appreciate it.
