No stats as of right now. Way to go Central. Great showing for both Central teams tonight. Channing Thacker hits the layup to give Central a two point lead with 1.2 secs left.

belfry plays phelps wednesday im pretty sure, their not done, but pike central is automatically in the regional tourney. belfry can still get in the regional.

Belfry lead at the half. Central came back and took the lead by 7 in the 4th. The game stayed close the entire time. Noone got a big lead. The games were called very poorly on both sides. Central came out with the win. Congrads on beating a very tough belfry team. GO HAWKS.

Yea, they will beat phelps. But, since they lost tonight. They will draw a district champion first round.

Belfry...4 in double figures
Howard of Belfry 23---5-3 pointers
Pike Central...4 in double figures
Lowe,player of game(hit a couple of huge threes when it counted in the 4th qtr.
Ratliff, Gibson, and Snodgrass also in dbl figures.
May be the best game of the week in Pike Co.

Good win for the Hawks and congrats i still hope Belfry can win wed night though.

Howard realy didnt take to many shots the ones he took he made mostley i would say shot about 75% from beyond the arc.

it looked bad for the Hawks early on when Belfry jumped out to like a 9 pt lead which is exactly what they did at Belfry earlier on in the season. But this time the Hawks were able to get it together b-4 the game slipped away and pulled out the victory.

I think the refs blew some calls on both ends such as when Gibson got undersut which David Rowe let the refs know aobut and also when the kid from belfry i think #24 got his ankle rolled over on by Brad Lowe.

Good win for the Hawks. Sounds like a very good game to have watched. I'm sure Belfry will make the region, Good luck Pirates.

Great win for the hawks. It was one of the most exciteing games I have seen this year. Good luck to Belfry against Phelps like to see you in region.

grat win for PC...i was in attendance and i must say its the best all around game ive seen central play in a few weeks...the shots were when they were needed big and Channing Thacker stepped up as a senior and got the job done...congrats to lowe on player of the game...very nice games also by ratliff, gibson and snodgrass as usual...best of luck to the hawks !

it was at the end off the 1st half EE just thought id correct that :-)

yes they did play a deep bench they were as u could tell in better condition than Belfry. Belfry was sucking wind 4 min into the 1st quarter and had to slow the game down. Belfry may have won this if they could have kept the pace up just an idea :-)

yeah...2 years ago pike central beat phelps in the first game......when phelps played belfry in the second game phelps won and PC and Phelps went to region that year..........Phelps record was 0-22 going into the belfry game and that game stood as their only win of the season

i remember that. it was quick frankly the craziest thing that i had ever witnessed in basketball. lol

congrats to the pike central hawks. nice job lowe, player of the game. props to david hess too. we go way back and im glad the boy had some play time, he deserves it.

he was good in little league as well. we were always on the same teams.
