I for one think this is going to be a good one, I am sure Alfus remember the events which transpired the last time the regional was held at his precious Hall of champions I shall pick the Raiders by 5.

No way a Floyd County team could beat a Pike County team in the regional tournament. Belfry should prevail by at least 15 points in this match-up. They have only met one time with Belfry and SF was lucky enough to beat them by 30 in the Coca-Cola Classic at Pike Central. I would say Alfus is right on the money with his prediction. He hasn't missed many so far.

Wow..I seem to remember the All "A" Finals and a FLOYD Co. team *South Floyd* did BEAT a Pike Co. team...in Pike Co. on their home court. Why do you say this can't be done?

Even though they aren't in the game... I think Prestonsburg storms the court... then beats both teams by 20+.

Cause looking at this board we all know that the only team capable of winning ANY tournament is Prestonsburg.

Nuh uh, no way aint gonna happen!!! South Floyd's Big men will just wear Belfry's "big men" out! Stanley and the two littles are just too much for any team in the 15th to handle! Sf may have the big head right now, but deservedly so! Too much beef for Belfry SF by 10+!

i'm going to say belfry by 6...haven't seen south floyd this year...if belfry runs the floor well like they are known to, then South Floyd's big guys will hurt them alot...

if SF's big men can make it to the post without belfry getting a steal first, they might have a chance...belfry is much more athletic and much quicker....

Belfry is quick, and SF has the big guys.. If SF can set up instead of trying to run the floor the whole nite I think they could win this game, But if it comes down to fast breaks, Belfry will probably win.

Someone said that Stanley has been playing the point in practice so that he could see over the pressure defense of Belfry. I don't think this is smart because the coach should know by now that Burnett Little is a bit quicker than Stanley. I,d play Stanley at the two spot maybe.

I see Belfry trying to run extreme up tempo and TRY to outrun and wear down SFs Big men.
If Belfry is successful and can keep Sf out of their half court offense they will win.

If the games are called like the Pburg-PCC game then Belfry's handchecks will be call and Howard and Jones may be on the bench early and this will hurt the pirates. (going on what was called last night). If johnson is 100% and not playing with the flu and 102 temp like in the district he will be able to handle the pressure and get the ball into the offensive sets.

I havn't seen South Floyd play..but I understand they win when they pound it into their big men. If Belfy plays uptempo and Howard plays within the offense and lets the game come to him..then Belfry should win. If the game is a slow half court game and Howard shoots 25 shots to get his 20 some points, and SF pounds it into their big guys..then they sould win easily. It depends on the tempo and the play of Howard.
