Ratliff out till District!!!!!

Haley Ratliff of Pike Central found out this week that due to torn ligaments in her ankle she will be out for the rest of the regular season. I wish her the best of luck and to get well soon.

I didn't hear that she would be out for that long. I heard from someone who works at PC and a reliable source that she would be out for three weeks. Did you talk to Haley herself?

my father talked to her and i spoke to him today and asked about her and he said she said that she would be out until then so...from what she said everything in her ankle is messed up

I hope that she has a full recovery and that this does not hurt her chances at the next level, but if I was her I do not know if I would play softball this season if she is planning on playing Basketball at the next level so she could get to 100% before that season starts next year.

yeah best bet now if she is not healed up until district is just take the ebst offer thats out there RIGHT NOW...what im guessing though is that it may b a 2-6 week recovery but her and Butcher would rather take the max time to let it heal so that she does not sustain furture injury to that ankle b-4 tourny time...

She's got colleges wanting her all over the place. One hurt ankle isn't gonna stop this chick. She's **** on wheels, Sure, she'll be out for most of her senior year in high school, but hey, college tops high school and she'll be okay b4 then. So... Hey calm down and take a chill pill there bud...apparently u know nothing about college recruiting...its not going to look too good for an athlete when they have two bad wheels whether or not they are "**** on wheels"...B-4 this injury colleges at the D-1 level would have jumped at Haley but now with this injury AND past injuries she is going to b to big of a liability for them...i do think she will go quite possibly to a minor D-1 school...B-4 the injury she could have went to a Louisville or an Indiana but now who knows...She is out for up to 6 weeks...IF YOU was a coach giving money to a player would you give them money if they have missed on avg about 2 weeks per year in high school basketball WHEN YOU KNOW that College is 10 times more grueling and take that from someone who plays a college sport...so take it as you may Haley Ratliff will IMO go to a Major Naia up to a minor D-1 school...and if she is smart as of now she will take her best offer just in case she sustains furture injuries...

My sister plays for Pikeville and IMO they are horrible. They need all the help the can get, but Ratliff is better than Pikeville IMO as much as I would like to see her go there.

There has been players that colleges wanted and got injured at the start of their senior year, the college told them to take off the rest of the season to get healed up for the college level. Top coaches looks at how a player preformed over their career, not just one season, even if it is a short one. Belive it or not, top coaches look for qualites that will help their program.

i understand stand what you are saying but they are also going to look at how many times she has been injuried throughout the season...IMO the middle level programs will be all over her while the top level like Louisville and Indiana will be a little sketchy but like ive said b-4 I HOPE IM WRONG...probley my favorite player all time boys or girls in the 15th to watch play...
