Yea...good job dores....but it still dont matter....we are 2 out of 3 in beatin them. It was just a regular season game, DISTRICT is what counts. Them beating us now gives us leverage to win in district play...well get em'

People are always complaining about the how they were screwed by the refs in a loss. Well tonite Hazard was officially screwed. Im not going to name the refs but it was the traditional three in a HHS/PCC game. There were occassions in which i watched a PCC player dribble on the out of bounds line while a ref was standing dead in front of him starring at the baseline and there was no call. Or the technical called as soon as the whistle was blown to indicate the foul early in the game. I dont know what it is but HHS can not get a fairly called game. Apparently Al Hollan and whichever Stepp coaches JBS can work over the referees better than Coach Morris can at Hazard. It is going to be hard to get out of the district for Hazard when the guys in the striped shirts dont want them to win.

Perry Central did outrebound the dogs tonite and they were a scrappy team and shots fell for them. Hazard couldnt throw a golf ball in the ocean from the three point line.

I would have to agree, some very questionable calls tonight and it does seem to be the same crew every time. However, I don't think that is what beat Hazard. I must say, if you can't make layups and 3 or 4 ft shots your not going to win many ballgames. Hicks was not hitting the three tonight, but he did all he could in scoring 31 pts to keep Hazard in the game. I will say this was (if there is such a thing) probably a good loss for Hazard. If you win this one, the odds of beating Perry 4 times would not have been good. Looks like a mid-season slump to me. I think Hazard will be fine once they find themselves again and get back into the flow of the game. I must say though, I'm not impressed with Hazad's coaching staff at all. I think Coach Morris is getting out coached in nearly every game. He needs to pick 7 or 8 players and stay with them instead of trying to play kids who are not ready to play.

I would have to agree with golfman here. There were a lot and i mean a LOT of questionable calls tonight.
Tonight's game in a nut shell is, Horrible calls, and way too much pressure on Hicks.
The bulldogs have to realize that hicks cannot carry the whole team on his back and win every game for them. Somebody has to step up and take care of buisiness along with Hicks. We have to capitalize on the turnovers, although not many but we never capitalized on turnovers and handed the ball to PCC a lot. Free throw shooting, defense and a little amount of help to Hicks has to come from somewhere.I still cant believ that technical foul called on Michael campbell in the 1st quarter, that was a horrible call and even the pcc fans know that. I know and i believe we are a better team than what we were tonight and we can beat pcc easily but today low team work, too many turnovers, poor defense and horrible calls from refs is what got the bulldogs.
Lets go dawgs, take this loss to get better and play better in the All 'A' region.

Like cookie monster said, I think this loss may have been a blessing in disguise. We all know how hard it is to beat a team 3 times in a row. We have already beaten PCC twice. If we had won this game then come district time we would have been trying to beat them for the 4th time. I would rather take a loss now and increase the odds of us beating them come tournament time. Congrats on the win, Dores.

They need kevin spurlock back!
I agree spurlock was good coach, but neither the school staff or the players liked him or his ethics, he has moved on and so has hazard. Morris is a good coach, has a different style of play which has helped us beat PCC twice this year, why is it that people only look at his negatives, with him hazard has beaten top teams in kentucky like madison central, shelby valley. we need to start appreciating the job he's been doing and give him time to better the type of game the bulldogs have been playin for the last 3 games.

Morris is not close to be the coach Spurlock is. Morris is already trying to please, instead of trying to win.
