I just got a call from home. My dad passed out today going to his truck. Mom told me he was having chest pain and became cold and clamy. The doctors think he may have a blockage in his heart. He is in Pikeville Medical Center getting ready to have a heart cathe. I just arrived in Lexington and im getting ready to leave to go back to Pikeville. If you dont mind pray for my dad..

QQ, he will be in my thoughts. let us know something whenever you find out more. my mamaw had a heart cath done at PMC about 2 weeks ago. but i hope everything goes well and they find the source of the problem. i will think about him and your family though.

Im here with him and I know that he is going to be alright. Ill be with him in the morning when he goes for his cathe. But I would still like everyone to have him in their thoughts and prayers.

I hope he's feeling better, and that nothing major is wrong. If ya need anything while you are in Pikeville, don't hesitate to ask. I'm sure anyone on the site that lives around here would be more than happy to help ya with anythign ya need.

QQ's Dad is doing better today. We are still here in Lexington and will be spending the rest of the weekend here as long as everything stays good. Thank you all so much for your prayers and kindness.

That's good to hear. My dad had a heart cath done a few months ago and had to have stents put in. Both were a really simple, and fairly quick procedure... for a doctor of course.

Thank you every one for having our family in your prayers. Im here with him and the hospital is about to release him. Hes doing great and is very happy that every thing turned out just fine. Again, thank you all from my dad and our family.

i hope all goes well QQ....i will keep u and ur family in my prayers...

i had a heart operation 2 years ago...i had a heart problem where certain things cold trigger my heart to race up to about 355 BPM one time...it was scary....if im not mistaked, i believe The Godfather's younger sister has the exact same problem....i think

Thats great to hear, QQ. I havent been on much lately due to work and such. But, my mom is a heart nurse over there. I wouldve came over for a visit. He is in my prayers, im glad everything went well.
