After what has taken place this week at Johnson Central will they be ready to play the Hornets in a not so friendly enviroment. With their backs against the wall in a must win situation?I say the answer is YES!!! I'm picking the Eagles by 6pts. or more.What does everyone else think?

District implications are on the line. With a win JC still has a chance to finish 3rd in the district and stay out of the 4/5 game. With a loss JC would more than likely end up in the 4/5 game. MC has about the same scenio, with a win they are in 3rd place with a trip to Sheldon Clark left. With a loss, then they would have to have a win at Sheldon Clark and a JC loss at Paintsville to create a tie and coin toss. If JC wins and then MC wins at Sheldon Clark, it will create a tie and coin toss situation also, unless JC beats Paintsville on their home floor. So, this is a big game for both programs.

Yeah he's coaching. He met with officials from JC yesterday and both sides decided that having coach Starns finish the year was the best thing.

I will be curious how the boys react to the events that has happened this week also. Will they listen to him or will they think that can do whatever because Coach Starnes was ready to walk out on them. I will be very curious about the effort that they give.

I don't believe that Coach Starnes had two or three technicals on him or that he has a discipline problem!!!!! Jesse got what he deserved! All players must have consequences to their actions. That's why rules are in place and if you can't go by the rules then why bother even having them. I don't have any doubt in my mind that when Meeks comes back that he won't be able to control himself then either! It will be the same old crap from him. He will ending up sitting the bench unless he has went through anger management or something these past couple of months! If Coach Starnes allows him to start and takes playing time away from the others that have worked hard and earned it , then he is not the man I thought he was. Stick to your guns Coach! Just because he is allowed to come back(Which is CRAP!!) doesn't mean that he has earned the right to be there!

If Meeks is back it will be interesting to see what his role will be. If he can play in a controlled manner I think JCHS will win in a close one 71-68. I am anxious to see how the kids react to a week filled with controversy. I hope they react in a good way. I also hope the parents can control themselves. Go Eagles.

Magoffin does have some good talent but they dont have much depth, and when one of their stars get in foul trouble its hard for them to win. But the can't hold a lead part is true. They did beat JC at JC and didn't play well at all so im going to go with Magoffin by 6.

Yeah really, Magoffin County is the best 11-12 team in the state. If they would have closed their games out, I would say 16-7, 17-6 is pretty reasonable. But one game they did finish was at JC.
