Pikeville has a good track team with speed, im not sure about all the other events, but they will be competative with Steven Jones for polvolting.

you talk about speed you have chase huffman in 100 and 200 time champlin in the 200 you put max P ,chase H, Jacob S, and sam mirando on a 4x1 team and it will dominate. Then you have aaron stanley on the 400 with jet and sam mirando , Feild events you have will lockhart and john scott throwing discus (john broke jr high record if im not mistaken ) long jumpers john perry and joe potter triple jumper weston lindsey who jumped in the mid 30's in jr high. Pole vault we have steven jones and high jump we have Joe potter who was supposed to have 4th place as a sophmore but fluked and got 10th

On the girls side, Candice will be a great help in getting points from the field events both in discus and possibly shot. I know she is awesome for her age in the discus and look for her to do big things with this over the next five years. I know the Francisco sisiters (Anne Sydney-12th & Lesley-7th) compete in in triple jump along with Bailey Joyce in the triple jump and long jump. With Bailey and Syd I look forward to a good season. I dont remeber too much more from the field.
On the track, the girls lose a lot of experience. Elizabeth Combs and Sarah Dye (both there since 6th grade) will be greatly missed along with 05 senior Adrienne Demerast who moved to Lexington. They were all big point getters. Pikeville does still have the quickness with Halie Rogers, Alyssa Cline, and Bailey Joyce. Other than that they will look to the younger girls like Christina Robinson and Jordan Shull for the longer runs.

Either way-- I know Libby White will pull together a top notch team that will be a contestor for the region as always.

Chase Huffman and Max Pufunda will be the only two contenders at state, but the boys should dominate the region. The girls will be down this year (in numbers at least). Pikeville lost their entire 3200 and 1600 relay teams and all mid-distance and distance runners. They have some people that can step up though, and some young girls who can hopefully do some distance running.

money is a problem with a winning program like this only getting $1000 a year from the school i mean a high jump mat costs more than that soo if something was to happen to the equipment they would be hurt. The money earned goes to sweatsuites and new uniforms soo i will let you figure this out

Im almost certain that Justin Trimble could never keep up with Chase Huffman. Huffman is the quickest person in the region, and I seriously doubt Trimble could keep up with him from what I've seen,

pikeville didn't look good last year at state for many reasons. when a key runner, max pafunda, is out with bad leg, it doesnt help out to much. plus you have to give huff and robinson credit, they only get to run together about 2 times a week, because they spend most of their time on the baseball diamond. we will do better at track this year when it comes to state.

if im not mistaking Grimm was troubled by and injury and he was sick at state but Brandon is a great runner i will admit and for all of u doubting Pikeville's distance team who is going to beat them around here no one lol Pike Central is their top compition and Brett Ratliff graduated for them last year. Pikeville hands down is the best team around here and will dominate especially the 4*8 and the 4*4 until state that is lol

And as for Jones he will dominate the 100 dash at county meets, regionals and state hands down go ahead and give him the Medal lol. I was actualy running against him last year when he got hurt i felt sorry for the kid he would have won the 100 at state hands down.

Pike Central i think just needs some sprinters they have a very nice distance team IMO but i know ppl will argue that.

Yea Pike Central had a fairly strong XC team this year and im looking for them to give Pikeville some competition at track. But it really doesnt matter anyway because they're AA and Pikeville is A. But the mile run is going to be a good race this year with Brandon Adkins (pikeville), Chris Grimm (Jenkins), and Johnathon Bentley (pike central); all running together in the same race. But good luck to them all.

yea do we even have to race Jones at region?? i mean c'mon lets talk about A not AA. Libby invites them because there good competition, and we need alot of teams to come to the meets to make them exciting. There arent a WHOLE lot of A schools that are any competition in track in this region. Pikeville WILL dominate..

The biggest rivals for us are Grimm and Adkins in the mile, (Brandon will win the 2 mile).. and Nate, Grimm, and Stanley in the 400. the 800 meter run and the 4x800 will be a nice race (even though P-ville's 4x800 beat Jenkins' last year). But as far as sprints and field events go Pikeville will rake up the points at region!

Joe Potter contributes about 0% to the track team. joe potter lost to nick potter every meet. At least i BEAT grimm at state... how did u do o yea thats right u messed up. and u have no right to talk about me when i work my butt off since 7th grade and all u do is come to practice bug Mims and dip. so actually look at who runs at practice and who just shows up.

we have brandon stan dylan, chance, and the raschellas who can run long distances great (remember the cross country team won regionals! ), steven jones, weston lindsey, joe potter jon perry, brian elkins and me who can all either high jump, triple jump, pole vault, or somethin, then theres erica newsome (who won state in hurdles) then theres furby, murrel, brett, will lockhart, and some other football guys and kandice ward that can throw great, and we have a bunch of great sprinters too...like sam morando, max pafunda, erica, brooke, linzy justice, and like a zillion other ppl...

thats why, the way i see it we've got alot of talent this year, and have the potential to do really good...so its not my fault if ur blind and conveniently "forgot to notice" all this...
