Congratulations to all the players signing with KCU. I don't know much about the school except for what it's website says. I do know that the two players from Southwestern H.S. Wes Hampton and Jordan Walters are outstanding players and fine young men. Both making honorable mention on the A.P. all-state team and both claiming first team honors on Mid-state, District, County, and both recieved many other awards from the various Newspapers and T.V. stations through-out the area. Wes Hampton rushed for around 1100 yards the last two years. Wes was also a fine receiver with blistering speed. Jordan Walters is a furocious fast linebacker with three years as a starter for SWHS in the 3A division. I was at the awards banquet and both needed flatbed trucks to carry away their awards. Hopefully the other signees are of the same caliber. If so, then KCU will have a stand-out opening season. I'll be there to see my boys give them ****. :Thumbs: Remember boys Once a Warrior Always a Warrior!!!

Ive heard their field is going to be REALLY nice. It is basically Morehead's turf field, with EKU's bleachers. They are building it this winter and all of the spring and summer, should be nice. From looking at all the banners in KCU's gym....national champs in girls and boys basketball like 15 years running....they should have one **** of a football team.....I hope so....good luck

Their football team is getting off on the right foot. A lot of these players are big time playmakers who will definitely build a strong foundation for KCU football for years to come.

Just heard from a great source that they just got Ron Blume the former Johnson Central running back.

They are also recruiting Michael Walters 6'3 330lbs OL, Travis Gallagher 6' 220lbs DL, and Lacy Snodgrass 6'5 230lbs OL from Ashland pretty hard and all of them are VERY interested!

They are also adding Ethan Gullett played OL(center) from Russell. He is a solid lineman that plays with a lot of heart. From the looks of the roster and the recruiting class coming in so far KCU should have a quaility team. Looking forward to watching them play.

What is KCU offering these kids? Scolarships, Partial Scholarships, Grants????? I know both Coach Dane Damron and Coach Ryan Sizemore-Great guys that know football and come from football families.

All the kids they have are play makers and this will be one helluva football team for 2008's varsity schedule.

I hear the facilities will be field turf and a 3,000 seat stadium visible from the interstate.

Also heard big money companies are begging to get their name on the stadium.

But, we practiced once in the gym, and it was full of national championships for boys and girls for like 20 years running. This should carry over to their football team. Im ready to see the field when we go to camp this year, should be fun to practice on the turf.....good luck KCU and all the signees

KCU is playing 6 games in 07 and 3 of them are varsity programs. I am not sure who they are yet but have 11 games scheduled for 08 opening at home with Virginia Wise. Not sure about Timberlake but he would be a nice addition.
