Paintsville played hard and good all night long, but magoffin pulled away at the end. Paintsville accualty suprised me of how good they played, i accualty thought magoffin was gonna blow them out, but good game pville and congrats magoffin on the 4th title in a role.

Paintsville was super tough tonight took advantage of alot of Magoffin's missed freethrows (16 for 37 ) they are a very scappy bunch and left it all on the floor . 4 district titles in a row quite a feat dont care who you are . Congrats to my girls I am very proud of you all.

Paintsville really played their hearts out tonight. They had a couple of players get into foul trouble early and that really hurt them. Great job to MC on 4 in a row. Congrats to both teams and good luck next week at the Expo.

what a great game to watch. Both teams played very hard. paintsville did a great job on the boards tonight. Had over 40 rebounds and 10-12 were offensive! Welch played great! All of Paintsville's players played very well. MC didn't have their usual way with Paintsville but Michaela Really stepped it up in the second half!!!

I dont think its right at all. Im sure having an all tourney team has some pros and cons to it, but im for it. And also I didnt realize this was Magoffins 4 district championship for the 4th year in a row. Congrats!

Way to go Lady Hornets!!!!!!!!!!......both teams played great ball. It was so good to watch a game with such good sportsmanship. I know most of these girls are friends off the court and it was just great to see them together. Both teams deserved it but only one can come away with it. Congrats to both teams and best of luck at the Expo!!

I am really impressed with the contributions that the younger girls have made to this team. I know the upperclass players have made this team. However, without the contributions of the players off of the bench, this team may not have enjoyed the success it has this year. Thanks girls for your hard work and much needed improvement. This team needs you to continue to step up.

I was wondering that also. They have always had an all tourney team. Ashley Jade, Brittany Manns Kendra Carroll and all those girls from the other teams who played their hearts out deserved to be recognized. What a shame they are not doing that.

I agree what would it hurt??? just wondering what the reasoning is..it would have been nice if those girls could have taken home a trophy to show their hard work...Thats sad...

I agree with you on that one. I heard that the Coaches voted it down (don't know that to be true). Paintsville saved $$ on the hardware for those awards, but still only spent about $2 each for individual trophies for the teams!

Good Game Lady Hornets & Congrats! I wish "Pup" would loan "baldwin" a pair of his "floor slammin' shoes".... man... no one can "slam the floor with their foot as loudly as Pup!" This was a very good game. I hope MC can get those ankles well for next week!

I was impressed with the Lady Tigers too... it's about time they played together! Good Luck in the Regionals! Love you Girls!

From what I was told the coaches all voted it down.Supposedly they were tryin to keep the players from "padding" their stats in the tourny.

He has only one paid assistant coach, who is never there to help him due to other employment. He has to run the Varsity practice, the JV practice, tape all the ankles, prepare the game plans, clean the locker room and takes the uniforms home and washes them himself; he is STRICTLY A ONE MAN SHOW. The biggest help he receives is from Dave Patrick, an un-paid volunteer, who does his scouting and receives no compension.

You've never had to walk in Pup's shoes and do what he has to do to prepare his team for practice and games.
