ENTERPRISE, Alabama (AP) -- With no time to send students home as storms raced their way, officials herded Erin Garcia and her high school classmates into the halls.
Outside, the skies grew so dark that lights at the airport came on in the middle of the day.
Then the tornado sirens started up. (Watch twister scream into Enterprise (javascript:cnnVideo('play','/video/us/2007/03/01/von.alabama.tornado.wdhn','2007/03/15','2007/03/02');) http://i.a.cnn.net/cnn/.element/img/1.5/main/icon_video.gif (javascript:cnnVideo('play','javascript:cnnVideo(' play','/video/us/2007/03/01/von.alabama.tornado.wdhn','2007/03/15','2007/03/02');','2007/03/02');))
And inside Enterprise High School, the lights went out.
"I was just sitting there praying the whole time," said Garcia, a 17-year-old senior.

I hope everyone recovers from this tragedy.

You can make plans for almost every type of emergency, but once an emergency arises some peope will panic. I don't think anyone can say how they would react during an emergency situation until they are in one.
