My computer won't let me get on the network at school. Can anyone help me?

QQ when I d/l and installed that patch my little network things finally came up like showing me that I wasn't connected. I tried to do that other stuff myself but it still wouldn't let me do it. Now when I plug my network cable in it says it's connected and when I take it out it says it's disconnected. You think we could fix it tonight?

Are you in high school or college if college they might have to do something before you're allowed on their network.

She is in college Stud. EKU has tech. support if worse came to worse but I think that problem was fixed.
