Hamga Chooses UNLV over UK

A visit to Kentucky last weekend did not change prospect Beas Hamga’s intention to play for UNLV. He announced his commitment to the Runnin’ Rebels on Monday.

Interesting note here from Jody Demling at the Courier Journal.

Is it true? I am trying to find out. Am on hold with a coach of his now.

OK just of the phone with Decatur (Ill.) Christian coach Alan Huss, who asked me "where is this being reported" that Hamga had committed to UNLV.

I told him where I had seen the report and he said "call me back in 30 minutes" adding that "he has not committed to anywhere yet."

Listening to Matt Jones on 1570 right now and he said that nothing with Hamga is official as of now. Tipton may have jumped the gun on this one. Let's hope so.

Now Matt Jones is saying it is for sure that he is going to UNLV after speaking to someone close to Hamga. Oh well.
