Hazing/Pledging

What is everyone's opinion on hazing? Whether it be for a Sports Team, Fraternity, or whatever, do you think that it is something bad and shouldn't be done? I know there are some that think it is totally stupid and pointless while others believe that it builds a bond.

Personally, I have gone through 7 weeks of pledging and am thankful that I did. It totally changed me and IMO made me a better person and built some of the strongest bonds with friends that I have EVER/ will ever have.

its ok to an extent some people take it to far and some people think that all hazing is as bad as the most extreme hazing but its not

I AGREE AS LONG AS IT DOES NOT GET OUT OF HAND.
