The hire wouldn't bother me as much as the firing of the other coach.

Youare correct they went from one of two coaches in their history with a career winning record to their new coach that has a 71-85 career record. This hasn't been the first time Fairview has done this and it won't be the last.

When was Cooksey the coach there before?

78-87 then again in 90-93. Only 3 winning seasons and 3 500 season. He has never coached a team that has beaten Raceland which is Fairview biggest game.
