I saw today where he is listed on the Washington Wizards summer league roster. Has anyone seen them play to see if he gets in or not?

I think it will great if the miners get former UK players to play on the team. However, Shagari would be one of the very few to not recieve a warm welcome.

And if people like Pittsnoggle is in the league, then there is no way a player like Shagari can play and compete just because he can touch the clouds!

Maybe he could be part of the halftime entertainment. Like, bring your little kid out on the court and let Shagari hold him up so he can dunk it! It would be a big hit!

I don't think Shagari's little limbs could hold a small child though above his head!

OK guys, seriously this is what happened to Shagari, and this is hilarious.
I was watching WKYT and sports came on. And they said they were going to have a piece on Shagari and the Wizards. Well, they were at training camp or something like that and they showed a picture of him practicing a little bit and everything.
Then the newscasters say, "just before our scheduled interview, Alleyne was cut from the team."
I found it hilarious.

That is very true, he has always looked like he was malnourished so picking the kid up over his head would most likely endanger the kid's life.

But I can actually picture this as a side show also is the funny part!

Thanks for the compliments, guys, that's just what I thought of when I read this story. Sadly, he wasn't much more than a 'side show' while he played for the blue. The fans cheered whenever he got into the game, mainly because he was able to throw down some nice alley-oops, but he didn't have much game other than dunks. Once anyone with some size rode him out of the lane, he was useless. :(
Incidentally, I would definitely let Shag hold my kids up to dunk it, even if I did have to pay a little extra...
