Just missed a putt to shoot a 62 which has never been done before in a major. By missed I mean it was halfway in the hole and horseshoed out.

I did notice something odd. He either had a Ping putter or a Ping grip on his putter. The reason I find that odd is that he is sponsored by Nike and he has played with a Scottie Cameron putter for years.

tiger played great today and i look for him to win this championship....he will get the scoring record either sat or sunday

So playing a Ping would be no big deal -- other than the fact he changed putters but he hasn't been putting well as of late so this could be a good thing.

True he is not required to play a Nike putter. I just thought it was odd to see a Ping in his hand. My thought is whatever makes the ball fall is what he should use. He has just used a Cameron I believe since he turned pro. It's just one of those minute things I sometimes notice.

he used titleist b4 nike made clubs and for a long time he kept titlesit drivers and the scotty cameron but now he does use nike woods

i wished golf was as easy as he makes it look he is awsome.
