The last thread got closed, but to answer your question bball fan:
I guess the kids need to just give up rather than try to come back..right griz???
No, make Central earn the yards instead of giving them something easy to work with. They were scoring points at will tonight, make them go a little farther for the score. They had about 5 scoring drives of 4 plays or less tonight. Every yard would be beneficial. Congrats to the Eagles on the win, and good luck at Wheelersburg next week. The only thing I just don't agree with was rushing to the line for the final TD run with 1 second left. I can totally understand bringing the first teamers back out when Bryan Station had their first guys out their against JC's second team and JV. Best of luck next week.

Grim is a man amongst boys out there. Does anyone know how many consecutive 200 total yard games he has had? I'm sure you will have to go somewhere back to last season to find it out. He is the ultimate threat. He has speed, great agility, can catch the ball out of the backfield, and is a pretty solid DB. Grim is one of the best to come through EKY in quite a while. Good things come to good people and he is one of the hardest working kids today. Me and a couple of good friends talked to him at the Pikeville College game this past Saturday and he took all the compliments with stride. I wish him nothing but the best for the rest of the season.

Grimm had 180 last week so I guess the streak is at 1.

I'm not talking about just rushing, I'm talking about total yards. Receiving and rushing. He is probably responsible half of the JC offense this season and last season.

My gosh, I can't believe that J.C. gave up 22 points to be honest with ya, lol. What a letdown, haha. Seriously congrats Golden Eagles on your rollover win! Could be a special year for you all this year!

Grim is a very special back no doubt about it, but you could argue that he is not even the best back in Eastern KY. May of Belfry, Dials of SC, and Harmon of Pikeville are all backs in the same league as Grim. So he is a GREAT back, but I wouldn't put him in the catagorey of one of the best backs to come through Eastern KY since he might not be the best this year.

Everyone knows he's going to get the ball, yet he is still able to put up big numbers. He made Cov. Cath's run defense look horrid. He is not the biggest guy but trying to tackle him in the open field is dang near impossible, he can break 4-5 tackles on a run and take it to the house, throw the deep ball, and so much more. He is the reason I see them going 9-1 or possibly 10-0 depending on how they do against Louisville Central, and leading them very deep into the playoffs once again.

But look at who they play...its apples and oranges...they play small class football while grim is @ 5 A...these guys are great but no one will ever know because they will never play in a higher class
