I think Valley has done well so far. They have played a tough schedule. I think they play hard and have an idea of how to play. I think Valley will finish 6-4 or 7-3. Saunders has built a competitive football team in just 2 yrs. I think over time they will always be a playoff team.;)

Bit regardless, they are very much improved over the last few years.

imagine how good this team would be if Harmon from Pikeville and Merchant from Pike Central had went there out of Virgie.

Valley currently sits at 3-2 at the halfway mark. Their remaining games:

- East Ridge (H)
- Appalachia, Va (A)
- Morgan Co. (H)
- Prestonsburg (A)
- Breathitt Co. (H)

The Cats should beat Morgan and East Ridge, and lose to Breathitt and P-Burg. I'm not sure how good Appalachia is, but several members on BGR have posted that they are a traditionally strong team. So Valley should finish either 5-5 or 6-4, depending on if they win at Appalachia.

Regardless, the #2 seed and a home playoff game await the Cats at the end. The rematch with Bath County should be a great game!

SV will beat ER and Morgan Co.
They will lose to Breathitt Co. and P-burg.
I don't know much on Appalachia.
So you are looking at 5-5 or 6-4.

Valley's 2a? I thought they were in the dist w/ Belfry, SC, and PCC...

Oh well, #2 in your district behind Pburg can't be considered a bad season, no matter who you are ;)

would have to say 6-4. loses comin from prestonburg (maybe) and the other lose coming from Breathitt.

Whats the deal with the rematch with Bath Co.?
Is that who thinks valley will play in the 1st round of the playoffs?

Everyone is predicting Valley beats Morgan and loses to P-burg, which gives them the #2 seed in the district, and will play the #3 seed Bath Co. at home.

If valley plays the way the capable of playing, they'll finish at 8-2. Then if not 6-4.

Valley will finish 5-5 or 6-4 then be dead after one or two playoff games...not much different outcome than years past...just fortunate that 6 class system came along.

Isn't that exactly what I just said in the post right before you?

Thanks, I guess...

It is pretty much the same thing everyone on here has said. I was stating my opinion on what might happen with SV this year. It was, however, the same as what you said. Oh my gosh two pwoplw think the same thing will happen, whatever will we do!

I guess I should point out that the first part of your statement is wrong, no one else on this thread besides me (and then you) had gone through Valley's entire remaining schedule and predicted wins and losses. What some other posters had done was predict a final win/loss record without mentioning the schedule.

However, maybe I should take your subsequent post as a compliment of my football acumen. After all, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.
