Is it me or is all this "caveman" stuff getting out of hand?

First all of the commercials, then a television show.

Russell did a float in the homecoming parade abut them

and what finally prompted me to start this thread is the B.C. cartoon in todays paper. The first cell had Peter writing a letter to throw into the ocean that said "I often ponder the meaning of my existence. Do you think cavemen have an important purpose...Peter" then four cells go by with nothing. The reply comes back in the final cell and it says "Well, car insurance sure ain't gonna sell itself"


Time to give that one a rest?

hahaha. i think alot of people are starting to feel the same way, Midee. i read somewhere that is on the VERY short list of new TV shows to be cancelled.

Seems like car insurance people get away with carrying sumthin on the most. ya still see that one where the squirrel dodges traffic and then gives the other one "high-five" all the time, also. its been around for a long time. but, i agree, its not even in the same league as the cavemen.

Don't be surprised if it does happen, TV is grabbing at straws to try to come up with anything to put on TV. That might be why they started the CAVEMAN show.

IDK possibly, but one of my favorite commercials has to be when that Gecko pulled up in the little car in the employee of the month spot, listening to that rock music and one hand outside the window. I still crack up about that one.

I read that the Caveman show was in danger of being cancelled, but it was pure speculation. As long as they are getting decent ratings, the tv networks won't let them go.

Cavemen has to be one of the dumbest ideas for a TV show ever. When I first heard from a friend that they were making a show based on the Geico cavemen, I thought it was a joke. Imagine my shock when I found out it was completely true!

I haven't even watched the show at all, just seems like too stupid a premise for me.

The shaving cream one is a good one. I think the one you are talking about is the one where he blinds Sasquatch with the sun reflection off his watch while he is fishing. I just can't help but get a kick out of it. I saw one the other day about the Jeep Liberty, had a bunch of animals singing a song, then a wolf comes through the sunroom, swallows a bird, then spits it out and joins in. I know it may sound retarded, but the squirrle down at the bottom dancing with his arms in the air got me going.
