That's a safe pick since both teams are the Pirates...lol... I think this game is a toss up with a slight egde going to Berea. Powell is a much improved team, and Berea is a lot better than their record shows... it should be a really good game to watch.

I think this will be a dandy of a game, Berea has some good speed and there very athletic but there record doesn't show, and Powell spreads the ball pretty good. But I think Berea will prevail in the end. Good luck to both.

thing is he holds the ball too long... there have been plays with wide open passes and he holds the ball until the line can't hold back anymore... the line can only do so much... if they could hold the other team back until billy was ready to throw the ball, we would be scoring left and right... he's got to learn to throw the ball and not hold it...

and also, if rose didn't always run toward the middle of the pile, he'd gain more yards on a play... with as little as he is, there is no chance of him breaking through a line full of guys 2 and 3 times his size unless there is a big enough opening at the right time

i heard from some people over in Stanton he threatened to quit or actually did quit or something to that effect, don't know for sure, just something was said about him gettin mad and walking off the field and one of the coaches begged him back or something.

Well said Booya. Joe Montana was not a fast guy either, Mr. Perfect. You don't have to be fast to play QB. If you listen to those Powell fans talking about how good Rose is you would expect them to be better than they are. Guess what, like you mentioned 2-22 against a weak schedule, if you have one average player you play 500 ball with their schedule. And like you said, more int's than td's, that is not remotely close to a good QB.

Ok. The only reason he started over that senior is because that senior got hurt. That is the ONLY reason #2 started. Trust me, that is the only reason. Ask anyone from Powell.

first of all, bluegrassballa, there were other seniors on powells team last year that have played the qb position but they used billy, second they graduated... we have 2 qb and they are great in different situations... yeah one can run and one can pass... they are quarterbacks thats what they do... give them time... and mr.perfect i agree with what Oldtimer said about breathitt... how do you know that one day powell isn't gonna beat breathitt... that goes back to what someone said about people dissing the team instead of encouraging them... i've been to every game this year and those boys play their heart out... they are building and i think once everyone realizes that and stops putting them down they will improve... if it were basketball it would be a different story..

Have you seen the young one throw, ball wouldn't land in the ocean from a beach, one foot away. I don't think height is the only thing either. From what I hear The older one is a 4.0 student and the younger is barely passing. You need to get off these kids and get a liffe. :devilflam

the only reason I post stats are cause people that don't have a clue are guessing at them. Or someone ask me. Go look at the posts before guessing about why I post them.
