If the Engineers are at the top of their game anything is possible. They've shown that in years past they are capable of pulling out a Big win against a highly superior team. All they have to do is dictate to Breathitt Co when they get the ball. I saw this team control the ball for the first 10 minutes of their game against Russell last year. They did the same thing against Russell in 2003 at Estill Co. for 4 whole quarters. Estill has to be able to stop the pass and establish the run. Breathitt will live or die by the big play if they let Estill Co. score early and often.

Breathitt's game plan should be simple. Stop The Run. If you do that Estill Co will loose by 4td's because Estill's Defense will get worn out if the offense doesn't keep them fresh by eating lots of clock. Fugate to the 2nd power is a powerful combination but they have to keep Estill Co honest by establishing the short pass across the middle and in the flats. If they can do that to control the tempo Breathitt will go for a few Big play Bombs to put Estill away early.

They will be broken if not challenged by Russell or Mason Co if they make it past Estill Co. The trip to Belfry will be like climbing Mount Everest for any of these 4 teams.

Nothing can be taken for granted by any team coming into Russell. It is not a friendly place for visiting teams.

The last time Russell lost a play-off game at Home was 2001.

Would you please let it go. The only chance you are going to beat Breathitt is Basketball or Baseball. Or by forfeit. If you keep nagging on them they will beat you by 80 pts plus next year, because they know you are a coach there.
