Did they not play twice during the summer? I thin J.c won by 25 at KCC and by 4 during Pikeville. But how long is Tommy Joe out. With T.J. out I will say City by 8. Wes will need some help handling the press and until Marson, Turner, Hall, and Howell get some experience the Raiders will struggle. But they will play harder this year so it might be closer then people think.

I think the raiders will fight the good fight but i dont think Akers will have enough help without hall in the lineup....marson and hayes must step up for the raiders to contend

yea the raiders will play hard...but that can only get u so far then experience comes in2 play...idk y u would just mention marson and hayes...i mean the raiders have plenty more players from what i seen that needs 2 step up, including ones that are better than these 2...i mean dont get me wrong, brandon marson is a very talented 8th grader, but marson and hayes has no varsity exp. watsoever...akers needs help and thats for certain...but the raiders as a whole needs 2 step up...like the great pat riley once said "IT'S AMAZING WHAT ONE TEAM CAN DO WHEN EVERYONE HAS THE SAME GOAL"..or sumthin like that...lol

You say over and over about expericence and the only player on the team with varsity playing time is akers so you cant point that out....second the only real other players the raiders have akers the turner kid hayes and marson......maybe the blonde hair kid...i think his last name is hall.....thats all the raiders have....

how do u get that they r the only one's the Raiders have they have a very good bench just about everyone that they have on the bench can play decent

u juss said it urself...akers is the only player with exp...and yes those are players that will help...but dont forget 2 mention paige, howell, tackett,henry(who playes very hard) and the langdon kid

yea it also sounds like to me someone is in love with colby hayes....but i like colby i think he will do pretty good this year but him and marson aint gonna make no big impact by there selves there gonna need help and theres alot of it, including better players.

No way them players are decent players....this langdon kid to me is more bark than bite....howell is just a defense player no offense what so ever...i agree henry does play hard but thats about has far as it goes there...im not gettin on here and bashing or talking bad about south floyd...i am a die hard raider fan but lets come to face the truth here guys....we dont have the micheal hall's or tyler's or rusty's here anymore...thats just the cold hard truth....we have some players that are decent and good and will help out the team in different ways but execpt for the players i mentioned early i think everyone else is just below average players....im sorry if it hurts someone to say that but its the cold hard truth....but good luck to the raiders tomorrow...bring a w home and start the season off a good note....

You'll never have any mikey,rusty,or tylers anymore because of dedication. But you play with the hand your dealt and They all need to give 100% from Senior Akers all the way down to the 8th grader Marson. No matter who is on the floor the need to be supported. Boys give it everything you got and play to the horn sounds and noone can say anything. Good Luck.

JC -72 SF -49 Jackson City was not bad and South Floyd has a long way to go. It doesn't help losing two starters this season to injuries, however every team has to deal with these type of things. Sr. Kory Henry went down after a couple of minutes with a knee and after going back in later he went down to the floor again. He is going to Dr. Shockey today to have it checked.

i agree they played hard but things wasent going there way injuries and alot of missed shots, and jackson city has a pretty good tem and south floyd just needs to put this lost in the past and move foward and work hard......GOOD LUCK RAIDERS

With akers not hitting the raiders have no offense what so ever....if the raiders are gonna win ball games then some other players are gonna have to step up and make some shots....
