Pikeville travels to Wolfe Co. First game and on the road. Predictions?

Don't really think there's really much to say about this game. Pikeville should win easy. Wolfe was 5-22 last year.

I dont know much about them. I hope they are not to good this year. With a few key players only getting 5 days of practice, it will be a good tune up game for the football players.

I thought he went to Riverside, and one of Breathitt's good players went to Owsley (Nick Noble).

On the game, I think Pikeville will win pretty easily.

This game will be closer than you think. Wolfe is a very tough place to play and Pikeville is probably very, very rusty this early in the season.

I'll take the Ville in this one...Devon Adams will be too much to handle this year for most teams.

If Devan gets the ball on the post, Pikeville wins hands down. If they continue to run the guard oriented offense then Wolfe could compete for the win.

Against Knott Central, he got the ball 6 times in the paint, and 3 outside the paint where he made a move and got within 10 feet of the goal. How is that having a guard oriented big man?

wolfe county plays really hard and will battle but i think it will be a little short
ill take pikeville by 10 in this early match up

He never said he was a guard oriented big man. He said the offense was guard oriented.

Pikeville 69 Wolfe 58

Wasn't pretty. Honaker still looked like a football player, and at times, so did the rest of the team. Difference in game was 2nd quarter when Pikeville scored something like 25 points. Went from 6 or 7 down in 1st to up by 6 or 7 at half. Did OK 3rd and played even 4th. They will get better.
