Cards looked good at times and also struggled at times. Eighth grade point guard B.J Moore looked really good in the second half and seemed to get some needed confidence. Porter had a great game and pretty much took up the slack when the cards were struggling for offense. This team will be better then most people think once Harless finds the right combination and they get some chemistry.

Porter looked good! Why was he benched after shooting them back in the lead?

I heard several other people asking the same question. Why didn't he start or play much in the first quarter? I'm no coach but it looks like they need him on the floor as much as possible

Who was second guessing anything? They just wanted to know why Justin Porter did not see more playing time.
But from what ive been told Coach Harless is bouncing alot of people around still trying to find the right mix. No one is going to see very dominate playing time for the time being. Give it a few more games and you'll most likely see a solid playing order.

In my honest basketball opinion, (i wasnt at the game so this is purely speculation), Justin Porter is a great shooter, but thats really all he can do well. He needs to gain some quickness to guard the little guys, but he also needs ALOT of strength so he can get down low and bang with the big boys. At this point, he is pretty one-dimensional, and my best guess is he came out for his defensive liabilities.

I would agree with that statement last year but from what I seen Thursday night he has gained some quickness, made a couple big plays when the Cards needed the ball and as far as being one demensional the kid had 16 points, 12 rebounds (sounds like he did alright banging inside) and was only about 3 assist away from a triple double and he did all this with pretty much in about 2 and a half quarters.
