Top Players in County

Phelps Senior Sasha Fields and Pikeville's Shawna Howard were named the top players in the county by the board of Pike County coaches that named Coach Mark Gannon coach of the year.

Fields signed a letter of intent with Pikeville College last month. She averaged 13.3 points and 12.7 rebounds in her senior year and 10.4 points and 8.7 rebounds in her high school career.

Shawna Howard was named Pike County's Most Valuable Player Award. She averaged 13.4 points and 4.4 rebounds.

No Doubt that the East Ridge Senior Brittany Hogston has to be on that list. Her game is off the hook, and she's gonna create her offense with her defense. Her best attribute may be her rebounding.

Chelsee Jarrell would probably be Johnson Counties Top Player.
