Prestonsburg is better than what you two are giving them credit for. They do have other players besides Jordan Hall, they have two solid guards in Clark and Tackett, and I don't think Devon Adams will have that good of a game going up against a much more physical player in Nat Stephens... But good luck to the Panthers.

how do u say they ave 2 solid guards..what have they done?...tackett hasnt played but maybe one full yr. of high school basketball and hes a junior, clark is juss another ball player...and as far as Adams goes...he will have stephens in foul trouble all game

Tackett will surprise you, Clark is a great on ball defender and has good down court vision, and as for Stephens/Adams matchup, you could very well be right.

I see Jordan Hall having a big game for the cats...and Stephens inside will surprise you. He's rough enough to keep Adams from being a big factor.

Pikeville may win but I don't think they will keep Jordan Hall from scoring 20+.

I agree with ya Cat Fan, it's not alway the vertical height or room that is taken up by a player, the horizontal factor will play a factor. I see the cats winning this one, but it will be very close. less than 5 pts.

IMO Pikeville will pick up an early run for the W by about 20Just from watching the last couple games, P-burg will be the team with a early run and Pikeville will get back in the game during the 2nd quarter and take the lead in the 3rd. I wouldnt be surprised to see Pikeville down by 10 or so in the 1st.

Who did Pburg and Pikeville pick up since their football seasons have ended?

I know Pburg only had 7 players dressed when they played in the AC panaroma.

For Prestonsburg, they picked up Nathaniel Stephens, Taylor Clark, Austin Gearheart, Seth Setser, and Micheal Burchett.

Clark is a great defender and one of the fastest players you will see and Tackett is also a good defender and if he gets goin he can make the 3 all night.

I have played with him for 3 years and havent seen anyone shut him down yet. They might slow him down some but your not going to keep him from scoring. I see him having 20+.

Who is this Austin Gearheart...ive never heard of him.

He was the wide receiver for the football team #7. He is a junior and is around 6"2, and can jump out of the gym. If you seen the way Chase Martin played last year, his style of play is almost identical to his.

He either broke his ankle or sprained it.

Pikeville 80 Prestonsburg 56 FINAL

Hall had a great game with 28 pts including 8 3's
Adams played better for Pikeville with 20 or so
Team play on Pikeville's part looked good with balanced scoring and didn't lose their cool with Hall started draining them. Prestonsburg will have to play better D, their O isn't too bad.
