Beat me to it PHS 1986. It was a really good game. Congratulations Belfry. I'll post stats in a minute.

David Belcher led the Cats with 19 points and 9 rebounds.
Logan Lucas had 13 points and 6 assists.
Johnny Mullins added 7 points.

Belfry was led by Jarred Masters with 14 points.
Gary Runyon added 11 points.
Alex Runyon added 10.
Jordan Hackney had 8 points.

The Cats fall to 9-4 on the season. They play Feds Creek tomorrow night on the road.

We will only go as far as the first 10 will take us. We played 10 people last night at least 3 minutes and if everyone accepts their roles and continues to work hard this team has the potential to be playing for a county title.

We have improved leaps and bound since the Mullins game and if we take it one game at a time and continue to get better each and every day we will be a good TEAM at the end of the year.


On the game -


The atmosphere was absolutely phenomenal for an early regular season game. It was a well called game and both teams played very hard. Dorton has some nice players and as usual Coach Davis does an excellent job with his guys. Good luck to Dorton for the rest of the season.

I do agree!! WITH the exception of one thing that was said by one of the referees... NOT towards any child that was playing, not during the game... it was during either a timeout or half-time.. not sure... other than that... basically good officiating....

On a side note..... the shot that G. Runyon took with .2 seconds on the clock from half-court was AMAZING!!! That thing didn't even hit the rim... LOLOL..... it just "swished" straight thru the net!!!

Great game by both teams .....

Sounds like BMS might be on back in b-ball well just have to wait and see how the season plays out.
