When doesthis tourney start and when does Valley play? Anyone know?

South Miami @ 1pm Friday. winner plays @ 7:30 Saturday, loser will play @ 1pm. Sv will play without Taylor Newsome because of his knee injury.

Any news on how bad knee injury is? I hope it's not as bad as what I have heard, ACL. My best to him and his family.

It's the ACL and he's out for the year, we all wish him a full recovery.

I truly hate to hear that. I'm not a Valley fan but a Pikeville fan but anytime a player is hurt and out for the season that is very sad. The only bright spot to something this bad is that he will still have two more years of high school. I'm sure he will continue to work on his game as he can. I'm know this it is very hard on him. He started the year on fire!!!! I wish him the best and a speedy and complete recovery. God Bless.

This definitely hurts Valley's season. Other players will have to step up. Not for sure they have anyone who is near as tough down low.

That is horrible news about Taylor. He is a good kid and good ballplayer and he had been playing very well winning some games for SV recently. I wish him a speedy recovery and the best in his career.

This team from Miami looks like it will a bear for Shelby Valley to handle. The loss of Taylor Newsome will be very hard to overcome, both in this tourney as well as the rest of the season.

Horrible, horrible loss for Valley. A valuable spot to the inside game has not been lost so this could be a season altering injury for Valley. Best of Luck up in New York boys!
