Looks like Coach Martin will take his Runnin' Rebels into Inez on Tuesday with 499 wins. Good Luck to The Rebels and Coach Martin. Hope to see you return to Eastern with 500 wins Coach.
GO AC!!

Should be able to. But, the Cards are gonna fight hard to keep it from happening in their gym.

Good Luck to coach Martin and I hope the Rebels win tues in Inez, but I don't think it will be easy for them. To be honest I can see this game going either way. If the Rebels are on their game then IMO they will win, but if not SC will come away with a "W". Just my opinion!

I think he may have to wait 1 more game because the cards are hot right now playing good ball beating pburg MC and matewan this week.

It was and wouldn't be ironic if Coach Martin picked up win #500 where it all began? Good luck to the Rebels. I'll pick the Rebels in this one.

What years did he coach for SC?

What years did he coach for SC?

It was the late 70's and early 80's. Don't hold me to it, but it was something like 1979 & 1980 before going to Allen Central. He wasn't there very long and I know there are members here that would know the exact answer to that question.

The 78 - 79 season was his last season at SC and his assistant was Roger Harless. So he is trying to get his 500th win where it all began against his first assistant coach

Yes he is and it would be fitting for him to get the win at SC, but he will prob have to wait, the Cards are playing very well now, have 3 straight wins and seem to be gaining confidence. It will be a great game but IMO the Cards pull this one out at home.

Missing school and bad road conditions are 2 diffrent things around here..lol

At the moment the roads are fine, i suppose it will come down to what the weather does closer to the time of the game.
