Good solid win for the Runnin Rebs. Played well as a team, and really impressed with the Crowder twins. They seem to be getting better every game and so is the team as a whole. Hammonds and Crum played like leaders as seniors should, and Prater with another good game. If they continue to play this well, they could be a darkhorse in the 15th region tourney. JMO. Congrats Rebels

Nice win for the Runnin Rebs. Huge game coming up on Tuesday at Ac vs. Pikeville. Two teams that are really good but don't get any credit. Both Allen Central and Pikeville have overachieved all year. Maybe the winner will finally get some respect!!

Don't know why you don't think that AC or Pikeville get respect??:confused: IMO I think that both are top 5 in the Region. Any team can lose, but night in and night out, Pikeville and AC are the two teams that are 3 and 4 in the region IMO.

Last night was Senior night for Boys and Girls Baskebtall, Pep Band and JROTC. Johnny did not do his traditional roast of his Senior players. The roast will take place at the Thursday game. Last night the Senior Boys were just introduced along with their parents.

I had never atteneded at game at AC, and last night was the first and last. The fans behind the sideline were very disrecptful. I am guessing the speech they gave before the game about conduct was dedicated to their fans.

I guess AC is the only place in the region that has fans that act questionable. :rolleyes: I was attending a game this season at another 15th Region team's place where if you're shot was "short" of the rim, the students yelled, "short like your ----." There's just not any good sportsmanship shown anymore and maybe there never was.

This goes on everywhere whether you fess up to it or not. When you go on the road to a visitors gym, do you get to park up near the front door in "special visitor parking"? Do you get to sit in a "no trash talking zone" or get "half-priced visitor drinks"?

I'm not making fun of your comment or defending any disrespect that you experienced at Allen Central. I'm just simply pointing out that this goes on EVERYWHERE. No one has respect anymore (especially student sections) for visiting teams. The only way it doesn't happen is when you go to places with no student presence, then you have adults who will yell at the officials all night.

It's old and tired.

They give the same speech at almost all schools guess you don't go to many games and the fans got into the game but how were they disrespectful I didn't hear any name calling or abuse of any way but they did get into the game and supported their team. However they got more rowdy when the girls played because they were taking a pretty good physical beating and Allen Central girls being quite a bit smaller played a scrappy game and came out with a win but it was a very exciting game to watch.

The ref's were heckled pretty heavy. But I didn't hear anything directed towards players on either team.

I was at the game and thought it was pretty mild compared to most games I've been to this year. I thought both sides were into the game and heard no disrespect toward anyone except the refs but that came from both sides not just Allen Centrals
