#1- 11 Region-

#2- 7th Region-

#3- 10th Region- These three regions are about equal in strength
#4- 6th Region
#5- 9th Region
-----------------------------------------
#6- 2nd Region
-------------------------------------------
#7- 3rd Region- These three regions are also about equal in strenth
#8- 5th Region
#9- 4th Region
------------------------------------------
#10-13th Region- There is also not a lot of difference in the bottom 7 Regions
#11- 14th Region
#12- 1st Region
#13- 16th Region
#14- 8th Region
#15- 12th Region
#16- 15th Region

I have broken the 16 regions into 7 groups. There is a gap in strength between each grouping. Some groups only have 1 team while others have as many as 7 teams.

This is just for discussion and is only my opinion. What is your opinion. Let's keep personal attacks out of the discussion.

That should have read 6 groups instead of 7 groups.

I'll take Paintsville or Shelby Valley from the 15th (when playing to their potential) over any team from regions represented from #7-#16.

If I had to choose one team from that group, I would probably choose Elliott Co.

Again, the 11th region tournament will have better overall talent than the Sweet 16. Rough when you have 3 of the top 4 teams in the state in the same region along with Madison Central, Henry Clay, Tates Creek and Franklin County (who is having a good year with some young talent).

That was in response to your comment about taking Paintsville or Shelby Valley over any team in the regions ranked #7-#16. If I had to choose the beast team from those 10 regions, I would choose Elliott County.

Elliot Co. is good, but I think they consist of the same players from a year ago that Paintsville beat in the All A. However, there is no comparison between them and I stand by my post.
