I'd vote for Obama over McCain, but I wouldn't vote for Hillary over McCain and I'm a Dem.

I feel the same way.
As big as those wins were for Hillary last night, they really didn't change much in the delegate race. I dont think that these gave her momentum, she was expected to win both states, but I think it did stop some of Obama's momentum.

BOOO!
I don't like the idea of her or Obama being president, mainly because of their political views. But I think whoever wins the Democratic nomination will be president, and I would rather have Obama than Hillary.
At least Obama seems like an honest, good person. I wouldn't trust Hillary to watch my dog for five minutes, let alone run the country for four years.

Most polls before the primary in Texas showed Obama winning.

She gained a total of what, 13 delegates, last night? I think the split in Texas was 6-Clinton and 5-Obama. Or that's what it was for the regular primary, not sure how the caucus came out (still don't understand how they do it both ways?)

Clinton has to win the rest of the primaries by an average of 60/40 to gain the delegate advantage.... that's not going to happen. The super delegates will have to go against the overall popular vote and delegate count to nominate Hillary... don't think this will happen.

Hillary actually has a higher popular vote if you count the votes from Florida and Michigan.

With Michigan and Florida, Obama has 13,566,589 and Clinton 13,602,609 votes.
Hillary actually has a higher popular vote if you count the votes from Florida and Michigan.Well, that would make sense because Obama wasn't even on the ballot in Michigan and didn't campaign in Florida because neither state will be given votes at the DNC. So to be up by only 44,000 votes while campaigning in 2 extra states doesn't really show much IMO.

Obama made many stops in Michigan and it is his fault he was not on the ballot.
Obama campaigned in Florida quite agreesively. Here is a link to the Florida state page off of his official website.

Seems is the operative word here. He gives great speeches but there is no meat in them. Hillary has proved that she can take care of your dog and this country, and I don't trust Barack Hussein Obama with this country.

All Hillary has shown she do in her speeches is attack Obama, which is the indelible mark of a desperate campaign. She is in trouble and she knows it.
And Hillary has proved she can take care of this country? How? She would be about as honest a president as her husband, which says all you need to know right there.

Beef has a point. The reason why Obama was not on the ballot in Michigan is because the DNC had already decided to not allow that states' delegates to be seated. That is solely the fault of the party leaders in that state, who decided to thumb their nose at the national Democratic leadership. It is not Obama's fault, and it would be ridiculous to reward Hillary for being on a disputed ballot.

I do think our great country is in a LOT of trouble......
This entire campaign between those two has been VERY outspoken and basically I think it is because of Hillary being a woman.... PERIOD! Many men don't and won't accept the fact that a woman COULD end up being our next President. Don't get me wrong... I am NOT delegating who I am "hoping" will be our next Pres. but you can't let good looks get a vote either. I have heard MANY women say on national T.V. that Obama is VERY nice looking. I personally don't think looks can get a country out of some of the situtations we have been in for the last few years.....I haven't got to hear much on McCain but I do intend on checking out some stuff on here and see what his take on a few matters are. I just pray that the "right" one gets the votes and our country comes out of some of this trouble we are in.......

Where did I ever say that the Bush regime has been good? I don't recall having said that...
And I assume you meant "Colin" (as In Colin Powell), not "Colon".

Tell me what man is honest, atleast he could run this country. What has Obama proved except that he has hopped on the skirts of a black woman to try to get to the White House. I sure thought when a black man got there, and I have no objection to that, I didn't think a black woman would have tuck him under her skirts. Oprah has said on her show herself she hasn't voted in 20 yrs. It basically has took Oprah to lead him to the heights his campaign has got to. If someone would have told you when the war started that in 2008 the US may elect a Black man with a white american mother and a black father with muslim ties and his name was Barack Hussein Obama, you probably would have told them not in a million years. I still don't see it happening and I don't believe he is ready to lead this country. Another thing, as bad of shape as this country is, I'd rather he didn't need to be raising 2 daughters in the middle of being president.

If you disagree with political views, that's one thing. However, to spout words like "nightmare" simply because one party or the other gains the White House is hyperbolic rhetoric. And, based on the last eight years, I would have to give your words some thought: "Intelligence and eloquence mean nothing...."

So, Obama is a skirt hopping, Moslem-connected, needin' to be raisin' two daughters kind of candidate? Wow... Meet the Press needs you on so that the whole country can finally see the light.
