The radio said there were only like 8 fouls called in the second half but it sure wasn't because of a lack of physical play! Horrible is the word I heard a few times!lol

Took a while for Paintsville to get things going, but once they got going in the 3rd, there was no turning back. May once again had a great night. Tigers were balanced in scoring from Murray, Slone, and Grimm. Grimm had been sick all week, and I know he had to be feeling sick still tonight. Great effort by Belfry.
Best of luck to the TIGERS against Shelby Valley, should be one heck of a game.

Belfry played the Tigers tough but Dustin May couldn't do it himself as the Tigers pulled away in the second half. Landon had a really good game on both ends because he ended up with I believe 21pts and I'm pretty sure that he had 3 blocks with several rebounds. The Tigers passing in the second half was amazing, the one fast-break were Slone, Grimm, and Murray passed the ball about 6 times down the floor and laid it up was amazing as the ball didn't even touch the floor... Congrats Tigers!

Good game plan by Coach Casey and staff, and I said Dustin had to have 30 for them to win. He was on pace until half way through the 3rd.

I want to add that as long as Randy Casey is coach at Belfry I do not think anyone will beat them by 30 in the 15th, as some was predicting. That kinda ****ed me off.

Yeah Im proud of Belfry and Coach Casey. Dustin was a wrrior and Hairston got past his guy all night, if he ever learns to score you better watch out.
Belfry really got tired late in the game and Paintsville took advantage of it, but this was a battle. Congrats Belfry and Coach Casey on a great season and goodluck to Paintsville.

Great Win Tigers! Belfry definetly gets a smiley face for play in the paint. The big fellow worked hard all night in there. I beleive Justin Murray got the fires burning with Paintsville, he played very "blue collar", Bundy was very forgiving setting up some great passes.

Hounding the WSIP bunch? FYI, I truly like Spike and Danny a lot! What have I ever "hounded' them about? I think they do an ecellent job covering sports, and they don't just cover JC boys! I appreciate that.

Congrats Tigers. I was proud of the way they stepped it up on both ends in the second half. I don't think they played very good over all, but they did what they had to to get the W. Hopefully we got that outta our system before Monday.

I did notice that too. Paintsville has a real classy program, and for the most part JC does too. There are just a select few that ruin it for everyone, and Johnson County should support Johnson County no matter what. Unless of course they are playing each other.

I looked at the score when the startes walked off the floor. Not 12-15 as you are insinuating. When Runyon called of the "big dogs" it was at a point he knew he couldn't lose, the point was only made that Belfry's coach should have been able to figure he couldn't gain 22 points in the last couple of minutes. I don't care, Belfry played a tremendous game and it's over. Why is this thread still going?

My question was and still is why would any team leave their starters in against another teams freshmen and sophomore reserves. Paintsville pulled their starters with 1:29 left up by 22. No move was made by the Belfry staff until under :50 still down by 17. If you call that a close game ok. I may be clueless to that brilliant line of thinking.
