You have to go to your profile and change that option in the User CP section.

Click on Edit Options
Check the Enable Private Messaging box
Scroll down to the bottom of the page
Click the Save Changes box

This should do it football05. If it doesn't work, send me a PM and we'll see if we can solve it.

The conversion didnt go to bad.. Considering that phpbb and VB are totally two diffferent animals. Its gonna take me awhile to get everything the way i want it.

I only lost roughly 7000 posts and most of them was BGRBABE.. People seem to prefer VB over phpbb.. Due to its spead and useablity.. I hope everyone likes it.

Bat, it wil not.. Its getting a paint job real soon.. with a logo.. smilies.. reputation system.. but.. all the games and the other crap. i had will be left for the homepage. All that stuff was slowing up the forums performance.. i have seperated the homepage and fourms on two different servers.. so nothing will interfer with forum performance..

not sure I dont know how to work anything in this vb yet.. give me two days and ill get the feel of it. I do everything from the mysql (phpadmin) Basically ive been making the changes in the code. Im still trying to figure out this graphical interface.. PHPbb has a much better admin panel than VB.

OH. Bat was asking about the Templates.. There will be several templates available. You will just choose the one you like the best.. If you like just blue. you can have blue.. Ill put up at least 10 different templates.. Then you can go to your profile and save the template you like the most.. (set as your default)

And no.. Guru didnt code VB. they are very popular among large communities throughout the internet.. Phpbb is good in building a community. VB is better at substaining large communites due to its speed and useability.
