UNREAL! What is going on at KCC this year. From what all I have heard in the preseason, KCC was going to compete for the district title. Can anyone give us any info? Are they a very young team? They sure have been some eye opening scores in the past 3 days!

Starting one 8th grader, 4 freshmen 1 sophomore, and 3 Jr's. The only one returning with good baseball experience is Zack Mullins, and Cody Smith which hasn't started the last 2 games. They play two JV games tonight in Paintsville GL Pats.

Theres just nothing to say about that. I have seen Clay play and there a good team but not that good as to beat sumone by 35 runs.

I'll agree with Spartan , only two expereinced players on the team. Why Smith isn't playing is beyond me. Players were bouncing balls all over the field, the catcher was allowing balls to get by him, and they can't hit. A lot of mechanics that need to be dealt with.

Whoa! Knott has hit the bottom of the barrel. I haven't been on here in a while. I have been lurking and watching. And all this season, so far, has been great for the 15th. The 14th is down, waaaaaaay down.

I have been saying all along what the problem there at Knott is, the coach. I haven't been to any 14th games and by judging by the KHSAA scoreboard, Knott has been outscored 104-9.:eek: It's time for a change. And if I were the people in charge, I'd do it now before these kids get so down that they quit. Then there will be no baseball program. This season is a loss. Make the change and save the program.

:D Everyone knows there needs to be a change. Face it jeter man. I wasn't there and haven't seen a 14th region game this season, so I can't say if the team is that bad. What I do know is that Knott has bunches of athletic talent. This program, this school, should never have a score like this. Knott Central prides themselves on having good athletes and good caoches. They don't have that in the baseball program anymore. Sorry, that's reality settling in bud.

I will agree with you to an extent. Knott does have talent, they just need to to come out. It will by season's end.

I think they have a really good coach, but just not enough experience in the high school ranks or just too young of a team. But from looking at the score, this game was unreal! I'm not really a baseball fan, granted KCC is not the best, but WOW!

Clay County obviously ran the score up on this one. This should never happen, REGARDLESS. Clay Counties coaches could have done something to avoid embarassing KCC and their players like that.

KCC has a great coach. He is just short of baseball talent this year. You can only teach so much in such a short time.

I agree. This was totally inappropriate. It just shows Clay County's respect for other teams and their players. The coaches should not have allowed this or have done it. Great coaching on their part! i agree that Knott does not have all the talent they used to but this was just wrong. Good sportsmanship Clay County!
